The Superior 36LBFOD-BS (catalogue H4645) is the 36 inch outdoor bi-fold glass door kit, in brushed stainless, for the VRE4336 outdoor gas fireplace. IHP's instructions list the 36 and 42 inch kits for the Superior VRE43 36/42, the Astria Polaris 36/42 and the Lennox E36ODG and E42ODG. The kit includes tempered glass door panels with handles, a four piece frame and a separately packed hood.

Questions people ask us
Will it fit my fireplace?
It is the 36" kit. The VRE4336 manual lists H4645 as its door accessory, and IHP's door instructions also name the Polaris 36 and E36ODG family. 42" models take the 42LBFOD-BS.
Do the screens stay in?
No. The instructions say the screen and rod assemblies must not be installed with the door kit in place. Keep them, because they go back in if you remove the doors.
Can I run the fireplace with the doors half open?
No. Operate it with the doors fully open or fully closed.
Can I still use the weather cover?
Not with the doors installed. The VRE4336 manual notes the outdoor weather cover cannot be used with the 36/42LBFOD-BS doors in place.
What tools do I need?
A medium Phillips screwdriver, a 3/8" open end wrench, a 1/4" drive socket and a 5/16" socket or nut driver for the screen rods.
