Superior 12DM chimney pipe is the double wall, snap lock chimney section for the WRT6000 series and WRT8048 wood-burning fireplaces. Each section has a stainless steel inner flue, a galvanized outer pipe and a wire spacer. Choose 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48 inch sections to build the run.

Install it to the fireplace manual.Firestop spacers are required wherever the chimney passes through a floor, and the fireplace manuals limit offsets and the length of pipe between supports. A qualified installer should follow the manual and local codes.

Which fireplaces use 12DM pipe?

Superior lists the 12DM sections for the WRT6036, WRT6042, WRT6050 and WRT8048 wood-burning fireplaces.

How much height does each section add?

Use the lineal gain, not the nominal length: 10 5/8" for a 12" section, 16 5/8" for 18", 23 5/8" for 24", 34 5/8" for 36" and 46 5/8" for 48".

Can the chimney have offsets?

Yes, with the 30E-12DM offset and return. The manuals allow a maximum of 2 offsets and no more than 6 feet of angled run between supports.

Is this pipe for Canadian installs?

The WRT8048 manual says Canada requires a stainless chimney using the HT parts and a CAK-12 cold air kit. Ask us about the HT sections.
