Sunstar Ceiling Mount Bracket Kit, 10 in, Fixed
A short fixed ceiling bracket for a horizontal run, where the heater sits flat under the ceiling and the angle is not something you want anybody changing later.
- For a flat, horizontal install. Under a covered patio or a pergola roof where the heater is aimed straight down.
- Fixed on purpose. In a commercial space, a bracket nobody can adjust is a feature rather than a limitation.
- Mind the horizontal mounting height. Horizontal is the tallest of the three mounting bands: 8 to 11 ft on the SGL35 and 9 to 12 ft on the SGL50.
A heater aimed straight down has to be higher than one angled at the seating, and the published band is 8 to 11 ft for the SGL35 and 9 to 12 ft for the SGL50. If your ceiling is lower than that, the telescopic bracket and an angle is the answer. Send us the height and we will say which.

Can I angle the heater on this bracket?
No. This one holds the heater horizontal. For an angle, take the telescopic wall and ceiling kit.
Is a heat shield still needed?
Often yes, and more often on this bracket than on an angled one, because the heater is closer to the ceiling. Send us the ceiling material and height and we will check it.
