Sunstar Wall and Ceiling Telescopic Mounting Bracket Kit
The bracket most installations end up using, because it does both wall and ceiling and lets you set the angle rather than fixing it. This is the same kit that comes inside the adjustable mount packages.
- Angle is not a detail. Where the heat lands is decided by the angle and the mounting height together, and a fixed bracket takes one of those two away from you.
- Telescopic, so the drop is adjustable. Useful under a high ceiling, where a fixed bracket would leave the heater too far from the people.
- The same kit that is in the packages. If you bought an SGL1560 or MGL1560 package, this is the bracket that came with it.
SunStar publishes a mounting height for each angle band: 8 to 11 ft horizontal on the SGL35 and 9 to 12 ft on the SGL50, coming down as the angle steepens. Tell us your ceiling height and where people actually sit, and we will tell you the angle to set before you drill anything.
