If the control board suddenly goes dead, the display stops responding, or the heater loses low-voltage function after a surge or short, the fuse is one of the first things to check. A blown fuse can shut down the board completely and make it look like the entire control system failed.
This 5 amp fuse kit is used to protect the PC board from overcurrent conditions. When the fuse opens, it interrupts power to help prevent additional board damage.
