If your 130A heater is leaking from the return side, showing corrosion around the header, or losing integrity where heated water exits the exchanger, the return header assembly is one of the first water-side components to inspect. Header damage can create pressure loss, external leaks, and unstable flow through the heater.
This return header assembly collects heated water as it leaves the exchanger and directs it back into the plumbing path on compatible Model 130A heaters. When the header assembly cracks, corrodes, or no longer seals correctly, the heater can leak and lose water-side stability. Replacing it restores the return-side water routing section as a complete assembly.
