If the heater is attempting to ignite but never establishes pilot flame, or the pilot is weak and unstable during startup, the pilot assembly is one of the first ignition parts to inspect. A failing pilot assembly can cause repeated ignition failure and leave a Raypak heater not working even when the rest of the startup sequence appears to begin correctly.
This Low NOx natural gas pilot assembly is used on compatible IID heaters to provide the pilot flame needed for ignition.
