Proficient Signature 10 in In Ground Subwoofer for Landscape Audio
Small satellites cannot make low end, which is why landscape audio without a subwoofer sounds thin no matter how many speakers you add. This one buries out of sight and covers a 25 foot radius.
- 10 in woofer
- Buried enclosure
- 8 ohm
- 30 Hz to 120 Hz
- It disappearsA waterproof HDPE enclosure goes in the ground with an aluminum mesh grille at grade. Once the mulch is back you see a small vent, not a speaker.
- Critter proofed at the portThe port assembly is screened, which is the detail that decides whether a buried enclosure is still working in year three.
- One carton, canopy includedThe 10 inch ships complete in a single box. The 12 inch in this range arrives in two, with the canopy separate.
Give it its own amplifier channel
This subwoofer runs low impedance only, with no 70V taps, and needs a dedicated channel with a low pass filter and at least 100W. Proficient recommends no more than two of these per channel.
