Proficient Protege RS6 Outdoor Rock Speaker, Gray Granite
A rock speaker earns its place when you want music by the pool and nothing on the house to look at. This one is a real 6.5 inch two way in a fiberglass shell that holds its color.
- 6.5 in woofer
- 1 in tweeter
- 8 ohm
- Gray Granite finish
- The tweeter is angled up at youRock speakers sit low, so a flat baffle fires high frequencies into the lawn. This one tilts the tweeter upward, which is why it still sounds crisp from a chair.
- Sealed in three placesDouble seals at the tweeter, the woofer and the enclosure cover, in a multi layer fiberglass cabinet with a NoFade finish.
- Tested past a military corrosion standardProficient states the cabinet surpasses military standard 883 for corrosion resistance, which matters within a few hundred feet of salt air.
Buy them in pairs even though they sell singly
This is sold as each. Stereo needs two, and a pair placed 10 to 15 feet apart across a seating area will beat one speaker turned up every time.
