Two more satellites for a system you already have

Proficient Protege PAS-2.0 Landscape Speaker Expansion Kit, Pair

If your Protege landscape system does not quite reach the far end of the yard, this is the fix. Two 4 inch satellites with the stakes already attached, ready to splice in.

Pair, 2 satellites
4 in woofer
Stakes included
Protege system

Power handlingUp to 100W

Frequency response120 Hz to 20 kHz

Impedance32 ohms each

Supplied asTwo satellite kit

Stakes and connectors are already in the boxTwo satellites with quick connect stakes, silicone filled wire connectors and a hammer cap for driving them. Nothing else to buy to get them in the ground.
Aim them with a thumbscrewPivot and tilt after the stake is set, by hand, no tools. You adjust coverage once the planting is where it is going to be.
It extends reach rather than volumeAdding points is how you get even sound. Two more satellites along the far bed will do more than turning the existing four up.

This is an add on, not a system

Proficient builds the PAS-2.0 to expand an existing Protege 4.1 landscape system. It has no subwoofer and will not work on its own. Going beyond the base 4.1 also needs a 4 ohm stable amplifier, so check yours before you expand.

Common questions

Can I buy this as my first landscape system?

No. It is an expansion kit for an existing Protege 4.1. If you are starting from scratch you want the full system instead, and we can point you at it.

Is the price for one satellite or two?

Two. It is a two piece kit.

What happens to my amplifier when I add these?

The nominal load per channel drops as you add satellites. Proficient publishes 8 ohms at 4.1, 6.4 ohms at 6.1 and 5.3 ohms at 8.1, so past the base system you need an amplifier rated for 4 ohms.

Is there a subwoofer in this kit?

No, satellites only.

How fast does this ship?
