Six and a half feet of solid teak at a full 30 inch dining height, drilled for a 2 inch umbrella pole. Like the 45 inch square it carries no woven base, so it reads as a teak table rather than as part of the Tulle weave group.
- 78 by 45 inches. Long enough for six along the sides with a seat at each end, and 45 inches deep, which leaves room for serving down the middle.
- Drilled for an umbrella. A 2" (50mm) center hole with a teak plug supplied, so the table is finished whether or not you are running shade.
- 103 pounds of solid teak. The mass is the point. A table this long does not need staking down and does not walk across a deck in wind.
- A full 30 inch height. Standard dining height, an inch and a quarter above Tulle's round tables, and a good match for the collection's 20 inch dining chair.

Materials and Construction
Teak. Solid teak, sustainably sourced. Teak works outdoors because of what is already in the wood: a high natural oil content that resists water, insects and rot with no coating on top of it. It is supplied unfinished and oxidizes to a soft silver gray over roughly a season if it is left alone.

Care and Maintenance
Teak. No treatment is required. To hold the honey tone rather than let it silver, apply a teak sealer once a season to a dry surface. Do not use a pressure washer, which tears the soft grain out from between the harder rings. Otherwise warm water, mild soap and a soft brush worked along the grain.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people does it seat?
Six along the two long sides with a chair at each end, so eight at a push. At 78 inches you can allow roughly 26 inches of elbow room per seat down each side, which is generous for outdoor dining.
Will the umbrella hole get in the way of serving?
It sits in the center of a 45 inch deep top, so there is around 20 inches of clear table between the pole and each long edge. With the plug in, the surface is flat and the center is usable.
Does it have a woven base?
No. The 78 inch rectangle and the 45 inch square are the two all teak Tulle tables. The 48 inch round tables and the 76 inch oval are the ones built on woven resin wicker pedestals.
What chairs go with it?
Eight Tulle dining chairs at 24 inches across the arms fit the perimeter with room to move. At a 20 inch seat against this 30 inch top you get ten inches of thigh clearance.
Will the teak go gray?
Over roughly a season outdoors, unless you seal it. The color change is oxidation of the surface and does not affect the strength of the wood. A teak sealer once a year keeps the honey tone.
Does it need assembly?
It ships in one flat carton, 82 by 49 by 8 inches, with the legs to be fitted to the top on arrival. Plan on two people simply because of the size of the panel.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. At 118 pounds in an 82 inch carton the carrier will call to arrange a window. Getting it through a gate is not part of the delivery.
