A 76 by 39 inch solid teak oval on a woven resin wicker trestle, and the largest table Oxford Garden builds in the Tulle collection. The oval top seats as many as a rectangle of the same length while keeping the corners out of the walkway.
- An oval, not a rounded rectangle. 76 by 39 inches with no corners to catch a hip on, which is what makes it work in a space people walk through.
- A 50.75 by 19.5 inch woven base. The trestle runs most of the length of the top, so the table is stable at the ends where a pedestal would tip.
- 140.5 pounds of teak and weave. Nothing about this table needs to be anchored, and nothing about it moves when somebody leans on an end.
- Teak above, Tulle weave below. The same pairing as the collection's round tables, scaled to six feet and four inches.

Manufacturer item code TL76TAK-W_, page 63 of the price list, printed without the period after the W that the collection's other table codes carry. The price list also prints the word Teak twice in this table's name; the piece is a single teak topped oval.

Materials and Construction
Teak. Solid teak, sustainably sourced. Teak works outdoors because of what is already in the wood: a high natural oil content that resists water, insects and rot with no coating on top of it. It is supplied unfinished and oxidizes to a soft silver gray over roughly a season if it is left alone.
Weave. All weather resin wicker, hand woven by hand over the frame. The strand is solid synthetic fibre colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so a scuff does not expose a pale core and the weave does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or mildew.

Weave Colors
Oxford Garden weaves Tulle in Shadow (weave code W.O) and Flax (W.F), the two colorways held for this collection, and in Sand (W.D) from the general Oxford Garden weave range. All three carry the same price, so the choice is purely visual.

Care and Maintenance
Teak. No treatment is required. To hold the honey tone rather than let it silver, apply a teak sealer once a season to a dry surface. Do not use a pressure washer, which tears the soft grain out from between the harder rings. Otherwise warm water, mild soap and a soft brush worked along the grain.
Resin wicker. Hose the weave down, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into it with a soft brush and rinse. Grit trapped between strands is what wears a weave out, not weather.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people does it seat?
Six comfortably, three to a side, with room for a seat at each end if you want eight. The oval shape is what buys the end seats; a 76 inch rectangle of the same depth is tighter at the corners.
Why an oval rather than a rectangle?
Two reasons. There are no corners to catch on when the table sits in a walkway, and the narrowing at each end gives an end chair a place to sit without being jammed against a flat edge.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. It arrives in three boxes, top, base and hardware, and goes together on site. Two people is the right number for the 78 inch top carton, which weighs 75 pounds on its own.
How does the HPL version differ?
Only the top. The HPL oval is a laminate panel in three decors at 155.25 pounds against this table's 140.5, and its overall height reads a quarter inch lower at 29.75 inches in the price list.
Will the teak go gray?
Over roughly one season outdoors, unless it is sealed. The silver gray is the oxidized surface layer and it does not weaken the wood. A teak sealer applied once a year keeps the honey tone.
Can it stay outside all winter?
Yes. The teak needs nothing and the woven resin base does not rot, swell or mildew. A cover keeps the top cleaner but is not needed to protect either material.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, three boxes at 160 pounds total on a pallet. The driver delivers to the curb only, so arrange help to move it from there.
