Tulle Collection
Tulle 48" Round Bar Table
The bar height version of the Tulle 48 inch round: a solid teak top on a woven resin wicker pedestal, raised to 40.25 inches. It is the counterpart to the collection's 31.75 inch bar chair, and it ships in three boxes with a separate foot ring.
- 40.25 inches, drawn for the Tulle bar chair. Against that chair's 31.75 inch seat you get eight and a half inches of knee clearance, which is the standard gap.
- A 48 inch top on a 25.25 inch base. Four bar chairs fit the circumference with nobody straddling a leg.
- Solid teak above, Tulle weave below. The same two materials as the dining height table, on a taller pedestal.
- Ships with its own foot ring. The third box is the ring, which is what makes a bar table usable rather than something you perch at.

Materials and Construction
Teak. Solid teak, sustainably sourced. Teak works outdoors because of what is already in the wood: a high natural oil content that resists water, insects and rot with no coating on top of it. It is supplied unfinished and oxidizes to a soft silver gray over roughly a season if it is left alone.
Weave. All weather resin wicker, hand woven over the frame. The strand is solid synthetic fiber colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so a scuff does not expose a pale core and the weave does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or mildew.

Care and Maintenance
Teak. No treatment is required. To hold the honey tone rather than let it silver, apply a teak sealer once a season to a dry surface. Do not use a pressure washer, which tears the soft grain out from between the harder rings. Otherwise warm water, mild soap and a soft brush worked along the grain.
Resin wicker. Hose the weave down, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into it with a soft brush and rinse. Grit trapped between strands is what wears a weave out, not weather.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What stools does it take?
The Tulle bar chair, at a 31.75 inch seat. That leaves eight and a half inches between the seat and the 40.25 inch top, which is the clearance people find comfortable to sit at for an evening.
How many stools fit around it?
Four with room to move. The bar chairs are 24 inches across and the pedestal is 25.25 inches, so the whole 48 inch edge is usable and nobody has to work around a leg.
How is this different from the dining height version?
Height, and a box. This table is 40.25 inches against the dining table's 28.75, it weighs 56 pounds against 49.75, and it ships in three boxes rather than two because of the foot ring.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. Top, base and foot ring arrive in three boxes and go together on site. No specialist tools, but the 50 inch top carton is easier with two people.
Will the teak go gray?
Over roughly one season outdoors, unless you seal it. The change is oxidation of the surface layer and does not affect the wood. A teak sealer applied once a year holds the honey color.
Can it live outside all year?
Yes. Teak needs no treatment to survive and the woven resin base does not rot or mildew. A cover keeps the top cleaner over winter but neither material depends on it.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, three boxes at 69 pounds total. Curbside delivery only; the driver is not able to bring it through a gate or onto a deck.
