Tulle Sofa
Seven feet and two inches of hand woven resin wicker, the largest piece Oxford Garden builds in the Tulle collection. It keeps the lounge group's low 15.25 inch seat and 7 inch cushion, scaled up to three seats without thinning the weave to get there.
- 86.5 inches across. A genuine three seat sofa, not a loveseat with an extra few inches added at the arm.
- The same seat height as the rest of the group. 15.25 inches under a 7 inch cushion, identical to the club chair and loveseat, so nothing steps up or down.
- A 75.75 inch back cushion. One continuous back pad instead of three, which is what keeps the line of the sofa unbroken when nobody is sitting on it.
- 106.25 pounds of woven frame. It has the mass to stay put on an exposed terrace without being anchored.

Cushion and Fabric Options
The cushion itself is the same whichever fabric you choose. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical; the only thing that changes is the Sunbrella fabric.

Materials and Construction
Weave. All weather resin wicker, woven by hand over the frame. The strand is solid synthetic fiber colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so a scuff does not expose a pale core and the weave does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or mildew.
Cushions. Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring them in or cover the piece when it is not in use for long stretches.
Resin wicker. Hose the weave down, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into it with a soft brush and rinse. Grit trapped between strands is what wears a weave out, not weather.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

How many people does it seat?
Three. At 86.5 inches wide with a 72.25 inch seat cushion it is a full size outdoor sofa, and it is designed to face two club chairs or sit at right angles to the loveseat across the coffee table.
Will it come through a standard doorway?
The carton is 89 inches long, 33 wide and 28 high. That clears a 36 inch gate on its side but nothing narrower, and an interior doorway with a corner in it is unlikely to work. Measure the route first.
Can I choose any Sunbrella fabric?
Yes. Bliss Linen is the fabric Oxford Garden stocks for Tulle. Any other Sunbrella fabric is cut to order on the same cushions, and the cushions themselves do not change: foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical.
Does the coffee table suit it?
The Tulle coffee table is 60 inches long and 16.25 inches high, an inch above this seat. Against an 86.5 inch sofa that leaves a proportion that reads correctly rather than a table lost in front of it.
Which weave colors can I have?
Shadow and Flax are the two weaves held for Tulle, with Sand available from Oxford Garden's general range. Tell us which one you want when you order.
Does it need assembly?
No. It ships as one woven piece with its cushions. At 142 pounds on the pallet, arrange help at the curb before the truck arrives rather than after.
Can it stay outside all year?
The frame can. Resin wicker neither rots nor mildews and the strand is colored through rather than surface dyed. Store the cushions dry over winter and the fabric will last several seasons longer.
