Tulle End Table
The Tulle end table with a high pressure laminate top in four decors, on the same woven resin wicker base at 16.25 inches. This is the side table for the chair that sits under a tree, or the one that takes every drink on the terrace.
- Four decors to choose from. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight, so the decision is visual.
- 16.25 inches, an inch above the lounge seat. Level with the Tulle coffee table and one inch above the 15.25 inch seat of the club chair, loveseat and sofa.
- Non porous where it matters. A side table is where wet glasses live. HPL does not absorb, so rings wipe off rather than mark.
- 3.5 pounds heavier than the teak version. 18.5 against 15 pounds, which is the laminate panel, and it makes the table a little less easy to knock.

Table Top Options
The top is the only thing that changes between these options; the base, the dimensions and the shipping are identical.

Materials and Construction
Top. High pressure laminate. Layers of kraft paper are saturated with resin and fused under heat and pressure into one solid sheet with a printed decor layer near the surface. The result does not need sealing, does not swell when it rains and does not lift at the edges the way a veneered top can.
Weave. All weather resin wicker, hand woven over the frame. The strand is solid synthetic fiber colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so a scuff does not expose a pale core and the weave does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or mildew.

About HPL Tops
High pressure laminate is the top Oxford Garden reaches for when a table has to live under a tree, under an umbrella or in a restaurant courtyard. It is dimensionally stable, it does not need an annual coat of anything, and the decor layer sits under a wear layer rather than on top of the panel.

Weave Colors

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 25 lb.

Care and Maintenance
HPL top. Soap and water. The surface is non porous, so rings and spills wipe off rather than soak in, and it needs no oil, wax or sealer at any point in its life.
Resin wicker. Hose the weave down, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into it with a soft brush and rinse. Grit trapped between strands is what wears a weave out, not weather.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Which decor should I pick?
Marshland Oak is a warm oak grain and sits happily next to teak elsewhere in the garden. Enigma is a mid gray, Skyline a cool pale gray and Starlight a near white stone.
How does it sit against the Tulle lounge pieces?

Why choose HPL over the teak top?

Does it need assembly?
Top and base ship in two boxes and are joined on site. There is no frame to build. At 25 pounds total one person can carry both boxes and do the job alone.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. The laminate panel does not swell or lift and the woven resin base does not rot or mildew. Neither part needs to be brought in over winter.
Can I mix the teak and HPL versions?
Easily. Both are 23.5 inches square at 16.25 inches high on the same woven base, so a teak end table at one arm and an HPL end table at the other line up exactly.
How is it delivered?
