Materials and Construction
Top. High pressure laminate. Layers of kraft paper are saturated with resin and fused under heat and pressure into one solid sheet with a printed decor layer near the surface. The result does not need sealing, does not swell when it rains and does not lift at the edges the way a veneered top can.
Weave. All weather resin wicker, hand woven by hand over the frame. The strand is solid synthetic fibre colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so a scuff does not expose a pale core and the weave does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or mildew.

About HPL Tops
High pressure laminate is the top Oxford Garden reaches for when a table has to live under a tree, under an umbrella or in a restaurant courtyard. It is dimensionally stable, it does not need an annual coat of anything, and the decor layer sits under a wear layer rather than on top of the panel.

Weave Colors
Oxford Garden weaves Tulle in Shadow (weave code W.O) and Flax (W.F), the two colorways held for this collection, and in Sand (W.D) from the general Oxford Garden weave range. All three carry the same price, so the choice is purely visual.

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 65 lb.

Care and Maintenance
HPL top. Soap and water. The surface is non porous, so rings and spills wipe off rather than soak in, and it needs no oil, wax or sealer at any point in its life.
Resin wicker. Hose the weave down, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into it with a soft brush and rinse. Grit trapped between strands is what wears a weave out, not weather.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which decor should I choose?
Marshland Oak is the warm oak grain and the easiest choice if there is teak elsewhere in the group. Enigma is a neutral mid gray, Skyline a cool pale gray, Starlight a near white stone. Same price.
How does it sit against the Tulle lounge pieces?
At 16.25 inches it is one inch above their 15.25 inch seat height, and at 60 inches long it runs almost the width of the 63 inch loveseat. Against the 86.5 inch sofa it still serves every seat.
Why choose HPL over the teak top?
It never needs sealing and it does not absorb. A coffee table takes more spills than anything else in a lounge group, and a laminate surface wipes clean where an oiled wood surface would mark.
Does it need assembly?
Top and base ship in two boxes and are joined on site. There is no frame to build. The 62 inch top carton is easier with two people, but the assembly itself is quick.
Can I pair it with the HPL end table?
Yes. Both are 16.25 inches high on the same woven base, and both come in the same four decors, so a coffee table and one or two end tables specified together match exactly.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. The laminate top does not swell, lift or fade and the woven resin base does not rot or mildew. A cover keeps it cleaner but is not needed to protect it.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, two boxes at 65 pounds total. The top carton is 62 inches long, well beyond parcel limits, so the carrier calls to arrange a window.
