Tulle Collection
Tulle 48" Round Bar Table
The 48 inch round Tulle bar table with a high pressure laminate top in four decors. A bar table takes more wet glasses per square foot than anything else outdoors, which is exactly the argument for a non porous surface over a sealed one.
- Four decors, one price. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight all list at the same figure.
- 40.25 inches, drawn for the Tulle bar chair. Eight and a half inches of clearance above that chair's 31.75 inch seat.
- Nothing to seal where the glasses go. HPL does not absorb, so rings and spills wipe off rather than marking the surface.
- Ships with its own foot ring. The third carton is the ring, which is what turns a tall table into something people will sit at for a whole evening.

Table Top Options
Four decors, one price. The top is the only thing that changes between these lines; the base, the dimensions and the shipping are identical.
| Option | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| HPL Marshland Oak | A warm, open grained oak decor. The softest of the four against teak and weave. | $4,798 |
| HPL Enigma | A quiet mid gray with a subtle movement through it. The most neutral of the four. | $4,798 |
| HPL Skyline | A cool pale gray, the lightest top in the range. | $4,798 |
| HPL Starlight | A fine, near white stone decor with flecking through the surface. | $4,798 |
Materials and Construction
Top. High pressure laminate. Layers of kraft paper are saturated with resin and fused under heat and pressure into one solid sheet with a printed decor layer near the surface. The result does not need sealing, does not swell when it rains and does not lift at the edges the way a veneered top can.
Weave. All weather resin wicker, hand woven by hand over the frame. The strand is solid synthetic fibre colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so a scuff does not expose a pale core and the weave does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or mildew.
What Is Included
- One high pressure laminate top, 48" diameter, in the decor you select
- One woven resin wicker bar height pedestal base
- Foot ring and assembly hardware
The weave color of the base is specified at order time and confirmed on your acknowledgment.
About HPL Tops
High pressure laminate is the top Oxford Garden reaches for when a table has to live under a tree, under an umbrella or in a restaurant courtyard. It is dimensionally stable, it does not need an annual coat of anything, and the decor layer sits under a wear layer rather than on top of the panel.
| Finish | Code |
|---|---|
| Marshland Oak | D |
| Enigma | G |
| Starlight | S |
| Skyline | Y |
The finish letter is the fourth character of the item code, which is how an acknowledgment or a packing list tells one top from another.
Weave Colors
Oxford Garden weaves Tulle in Shadow (weave code W.O) and Flax (W.F), the two colorways held for this collection, and in Sand (W.D) from the general Oxford Garden weave range. All three carry the same price, so the choice is purely visual.
| Weave | Code | Reads as |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow | W.O | The dark colorway. Shared with the Orso collection and nothing else. |
| Flax | W.F | The pale colorway, unique to Tulle. |
| Sand | W.D | The mid tone from Oxford Garden's general weave range. |
Tell us the weave you want when you order and we will confirm it on your acknowledgment before the order goes in. Call 631 678-6506 or email customerservice@aquaterrabackyard.com.

Care and Maintenance
HPL top. Soap and water. The surface is non porous, so rings and spills wipe off rather than soak in, and it needs no oil, wax or sealer at any point in its life.
Resin wicker. Hose the weave down, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into it with a soft brush and rinse. Grit trapped between strands is what wears a weave out, not weather.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose HPL over teak on a bar table?
Drinks. A bar table gets more wet glasses per square foot than a dining table, and HPL is non porous, so rings do not soak in and there is no sealer to keep reapplying where the condensation sits.
What stools does it take?
The Tulle bar chair at a 31.75 inch seat. Against this 40.25 inch top that leaves eight and a half inches of knee clearance, and four chairs fit the 48 inch circumference comfortably.
Which decor should I pick?
Marshland Oak reads warm and works next to teak. Enigma is a neutral mid gray, Skyline a cool pale gray and Starlight a near white stone. All four are priced identically.
How does it differ from the dining height HPL table?
Height and a foot ring. This one is 40.25 inches against 28.75, weighs 66.5 pounds against 60.25, and ships in three boxes rather than two.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. Top, base and foot ring arrive in three cartons and are put together on site. The top carton is 50 inches square, so handle that one with a second pair of hands.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. The laminate top does not swell or lift and the woven resin base does not rot or mildew. A cover keeps it cleaner over winter but neither material needs it.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, three boxes at 79 pounds total on a pallet. The driver brings it to the curb; getting it through a gate is on you.
What else is in the Tulle collection?
A dining chair and a bar chair, a club chair, a loveseat and a sofa, a coffee table and an end table, and five tables: a 48 inch round in dining and bar height, a 45 inch square, a 78 inch rectangle and a 76 inch oval. Tops come in solid teak or in HPL.
