Tulle Club Chair
A woven lounge chair on a low 15.25 inch seat with a 7 inch cushion and a separate lumbar back pad. It is nearly five inches deeper than it is wide, which is what gives it the sunk in proportion the Tulle lounge group is built around.
- Deeper than it is wide. 33.75 inches of depth against 29.25 of width. You sit into this chair rather than on it.
- A 15.25 inch seat under a 7 inch cushion. Low and soft, and the same seat height as the Tulle loveseat and sofa so a mixed group sits level.
- A separate back cushion. 17.5" x 6" x 17.5", so it works as lumbar support rather than a fixed back you cannot adjust.
- Hand woven, colored through. The resin strand carries its color all the way through, so the weave does not fade to a different shade where the sun hits hardest.

Cushion and Fabric Options
Oxford Garden prices Tulle cushions by fabric grade. The cushion itself does not change between grades. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical on all three; what changes is which Sunbrella fabric book you are choosing from, and that is what moves the price.

Materials and Construction
Weave. All weather resin wicker, hand woven by hand over the frame. The strand is solid synthetic fibre colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so a scuff does not expose a pale core and the weave does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or mildew.
Cushions. Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fibre before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

How the Fabric Grades Work
Grade 2A is the settled end of the ladder. Oxford Garden stocks Bliss Linen for Tulle, so a Grade 2A order is a fabric that is already decided. Grade A and Grade B open progressively wider Sunbrella ranges and are cut to order in whichever pattern you pick.

Weave Colors
Oxford Garden weaves Tulle in Shadow (weave code W.O) and Flax (W.F), the two colorways held for this collection, and in Sand (W.D) from the general Oxford Garden weave range. All three carry the same price, so the choice is purely visual.

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 39 lb.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring them in or cover the piece when it is not in use for long stretches.
Resin wicker. Hose the weave down, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into it with a soft brush and rinse. Grit trapped between strands is what wears a weave out, not weather.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does it sit next to the Tulle loveseat and sofa?
Level. All three lounge pieces share a 15.25 inch seat height and a 7 inch seat cushion, so a club chair pulled up to a loveseat does not create a step. The chair is 33.75 inches deep against their 32.
Is 15.25 inches too low to get out of?
It is a lounge height, not a dining height, and the 7 inch cushion lifts the actual sitting surface well above the frame. If everyone using the terrace wants an upright seat, the Tulle dining chair at 20 inches is the better call.
What is the difference between the grades?
They are fabric price tiers, not different cushions. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical across all three. Grade 2A is Bliss Linen, which Oxford Garden stocks for Tulle. Grade A and Grade B open wider Sunbrella ranges and are cut to order.
Do the cushions come with it?
Yes. The seat cushion and the back cushion are both included in the price and ship with the chair. The grade you choose sets which Sunbrella range they are cut from.
Which weave colors can I have?
Shadow and Flax are held for Tulle, and Sand comes from Oxford Garden's general weave range. There is no price difference between them, so pick on looks and tell us which when you order.
What table goes with it?
The Tulle coffee table at 60 by 29.25 inches and 16.25 inches high, which sits an inch above this seat, or the 23.5 inch square end table at the same height for a drink beside the arm.
Can it stay outside all year?
The woven frame, yes. It does not rot, swell or mildew. Cushions last far longer stored dry over winter or under a cover when the chairs are not being used for weeks at a time.
