Travira Collection
Travira Sling Side Chair
The armless sling dining chair. One panel of composite sling over an aluminum frame, 18.25 inches across, so it tucks under a table and takes almost no room at the sides. Eight and a half pounds. Oxford Garden ships it two or four at a time.
- Narrow on purpose. 18.25 inches wide against 22 inches for the armchair. Around a 63 inch table that difference is an extra place setting.
- A 17.25 inch seat. A quarter inch above the slatted Travira Side Chair and level with the 4 foot Stacking Bench, so a bench down one side of a table and side chairs down the other sit flush.
- Seventeen sling colors. Every color costs the same. You choose the color when you order.
- No cushion to manage. The sling is the seat. It drains, it dries and it stays out.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Sling. Composite sling, stretched over the frame as a single panel. There is no cushion to store, no cover to buy and nothing to bring in when it rains. Seventeen sling colors are available for Travira.
Frame finish. Flint powder coat, code PC.F. Oxford Garden also offers Travira in Chalk, code PC.W, and Carbon, code PC.C.

Care and Maintenance
Sling. Hose it down and let it dry. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own and does not need to be brought inside. For stubborn marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can I not buy just one?
Oxford Garden cartons this chair as a pair at 25 lb or as four at 44 lb and will not break the pack.
How many fit around a table?
At 18.25 inches wide it needs about 24 inches of table edge per seat to sit comfortably. That is four around a 32 inch round, six along a 63 inch rectangle, eight around a 103 inch one.
What is the difference from the Sling Armchair?
Arms, width and a quarter inch of seat height. The side chair is 18.25 inches wide with a 17.25 inch seat; the armchair is 22 inches wide with a 17 inch seat and Tekwood arm caps. Same sling, same frame, same finish.
Is there a cushion?
No. The composite sling panel is the seat and the back. Nothing to store at the end of the season and nothing to lift off when it rains.
How do I clean the sling?
Hose it and let it dry. Composite sling drains through itself, so it does not hold water and does not need to come inside. For a mark that will not rinse off, mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse again.
What frame color is this?
Flint, code PC.F. Oxford Garden also offers Travira in Chalk, PC.W, and Carbon, PC.C. Ask us before you order if you want one of those instead.
Can it live outside all year?
Yes. Marine grade aluminum does not rust, so the frame is not depending on the coating staying perfect to survive the winter. Wash it with mild soap and water when it looks dirty and leave it where it is.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be called to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb; carrying it through a gate or onto a deck is not part of the service, so have a second pair of hands ready.
