Travira Collection
Travira Sling Beach Chair
The low one. An eleven inch seat and a 27 inch overall height, on the same 26.75 by 30.5 inch footprint as the Travira Sling Lounge Chair. Seven pounds, no cushion, and the reclined posture that gives it its name. Sold in sets of two or four.
- An 11 inch seat. Four inches lower than the Travira Sling Lounge Chair and four inches below a standard lounge seat. You sit back into it rather than down onto it.
- Seven pounds. The lightest seat in the Travira program. It moves with the shade.
- Same footprint as the lounge chair. 26.75 inches wide and 30.5 inches deep, so the two can be mixed around one fire pit without upsetting the spacing.
- Sling, so it lives outside. Nothing to bring in, nothing to dry, seventeen colors to choose from.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Sling. Composite sling, stretched over the frame as a single panel. There is no cushion to store, no cover to buy and nothing to bring in when it rains. Oxford Garden offers seventeen sling colors for Travira.
Frame finish. Flint powder coat, code PC.F. Oxford Garden also offers Travira in Chalk, code PC.W, and Carbon, code PC.C. Talk to us before you order if you want one of those instead.
Arm caps. Tekwood, Natural or Vintage. The caps are the only wood look part of the piece and they are what your forearm rests on.

Care and Maintenance
Sling. Hose it down and let it dry. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own and does not need to be brought inside. For stubborn marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can I not buy just one?
Oxford Garden cartons this chair as a pair at 31 lb or as a set of four at 51 lb, so it is sold in those sets only.
How low is an 11 inch seat really?
Low. A dining chair is 17 to 18 inches and the Travira Sling Lounge Chair is 15. At 11 inches your knees sit above your hips, which is comfortable for an hour in the sun and harder to get out of than a lounge chair.
Can I use it at a table?
No. An 11 inch seat is far too low for a 29.5 inch dining top. This is a sunbathing and fire pit chair.
Does it fold?
No. It is a fixed aluminum frame, which is why it holds its shape in wind that would fold a deck chair. A pair ships in one carton measuring 38 by 29 by 40 inches.
How do I clean the sling?
Hose it and let it dry. Composite sling drains through itself, so it does not hold water and does not need to come inside. For a mark that will not rinse off, mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse again.
What frame color is this?
Flint, code PC.F. Oxford Garden also offers Travira in Chalk, PC.W, and Carbon, PC.C. Ask us before you order if you want one of those instead.
Can it live outside all year?
Yes. Marine grade aluminum does not rust, so the frame is not depending on the coating staying perfect to survive the winter. Wash it with mild soap and water when it looks dirty and leave it where it is.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be called to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb; carrying it through a gate or onto a deck is not part of the service, so have a second pair of hands ready.
