Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Sling. Composite sling, stretched over the frame as a single panel. There is no cushion to store, no cover to buy and nothing to bring in when it rains. Seventeen sling colors are available for Travira.

Care and Maintenance
Sling. Hose it down and let it dry. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own and does not need to be brought inside. For stubborn marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

What table height is this for?
Bar height, 40 to 42 inches. Against the Travira 41.5 inch bar tables the 32 inch seat leaves 9.5 inches of knee room, which is the standard relationship. It is too tall for a 36 inch counter.
Counter or bar?
This is the bar version. Oxford Garden also makes the Travira Sling Counter Chair with a 23 inch seat and a 39.5 inch overall height for counter height tops. Check the seat height, not the name.
How tall is the back?
The stool measures 48 inches overall with the seat at 32 inches, so 16 inches of frame and sling stand above the seat. That is a back you can lean into rather than a token rail.
Is there a cushion?
No. The composite sling is the seat and the back, and it drains and dries on its own. Nothing to bring inside when the forecast turns.
How do I clean the sling?
Hose it and let it dry. Composite sling drains through itself, so it does not hold water and does not need to come inside. For a mark that will not rinse off, mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse again.
