Travira Collection
Travira Modular Valet Base Receptacle
The waste receptacle unit in Oxford Garden's Travira modular valet program: a 21.25 inch square cabinet standing 42.25 inches, with a door and a liner supplied. It is the piece that hides a bin at a pool deck, a hotel entrance or a restaurant host station.
- Door and liner are supplied. Oxford Garden specifies this unit as including the door and the liner, so it arrives as a working receptacle rather than an empty cabinet you have to fit out.
- 21.25 inches square, 42.25 inches tall. A narrow footprint at counter plus height, which is what lets it stand beside an entrance or a service point without taking a traffic lane.
- Tekwood panels over powder coated aluminum. Natural or Vintage panel finish, matched to the rest of the Travira range, on a frame that does not rust.
- Part of the modular valet program. It shares its 21.25 inch square footprint with the Travira valet base shelves and the valet hutch, so a row of units lines up.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Panels. Tekwood, Oxford Garden's wood look outdoor surface, in Natural or Vintage. The choice on this listing sets the panel finish. The structure underneath is the same powder coated aluminum on both.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the aluminum frame rust?
No. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the standard frame material for poolside and coastal service furniture. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it resists chipping at the joints.
How do I clean the Tekwood panels?
Mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth. Tekwood needs no sealing, oiling or annual refinishing. Keep abrasive pads and scouring powder off it, because a dulled patch cannot be blended back in.
Does it come with a liner?
Yes. Oxford Garden specifies this unit as including both the door and the liner, so it ships ready to use. Nothing else needs to be ordered to put it into service.
How is this different from the valet base shelves?
Same 21.25 inch square footprint and same 42.25 inch height, but this one is fitted out as a receptacle with a door and liner. The shelves version carries a shelf at 22.5 inches instead.
How many boxes does it arrive in?
Three. Oxford Garden gives no single shipping weight for the unit, only the three cartons: 57 lb, 12 lb and 13 lb. Check all three are on the truck before you sign the delivery receipt.
Is it suitable for commercial use?
It is designed for it. Travira is specified regularly for hospitality, and a valet base receptacle at an entrance or pool deck is a commercial application rather than a residential one.
Can I stand several units side by side?
Yes. The receptacle, the valet base shelves and the valet hutch all share a 21.25 inch square footprint, so a row of them lines up front and back without packing pieces.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be contacted to arrange a window. The driver brings the three cartons to the curb and no further.
