Travira Collection
Travira Modular Side Seat
The straight run unit in Oxford Garden's Travira modular program. At 29.5 inches wide it is the piece you repeat to set the length of a sectional, and it carries the same 18 inch seat height and 32 inch depth as every other Travira cushioned seat.
- 29.5 inches wide, meant to be repeated. Add side seats to either side of a corner seat to build an L. Each one you add grows the run by 29.5 inches.
- Armless, so the run stays continuous. With no arm caps, side seats sit shoulder to shoulder and read as one long seat rather than a row of chairs.
- Your choice of fabric. Stocked Bliss Linen, five stocked polyester colors, or made to order Sunbrella. The cushion is the same in every one.
- Sits level with the rest of Travira. 18 inch seat height and 32 inch depth, shared with the corner seat, the modular loveseats and the cushioned lounge chair.

Cushion and Fabric Choices
The cushions are the same in every fabric. The foam, the cover construction and the cushion dimensions are identical. Pick the fabric you like.
| Option | What it is |
|---|---|
| Bliss Linen | Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic. The stocked Sunbrella fabric for Travira. |
| Solution dyed polyester | Stocked in Eggshell White, Ice Blue, Jet Black, Midnight Blue and Stone. Name the color when you order. |
| Other Sunbrella fabrics | Made to order in the Sunbrella fabric you choose. |
Solution dyed means the color is put into the fiber before it is spun, so it runs all the way through rather than being printed on the face.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Cushion construction. The cushion is the same in every fabric. Foam, cover construction and dimensions do not change.
Cushions. Solution dyed fabric. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.
What Is Included
- One Travira Modular Side Seat frame in powder coated aluminum
- Seat and back cushions in the fabric you select
Other modular units and the tables shown in our photography are sold separately.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the fabric choices?
They change the look, not the cushion. Foam, cover construction and dimensions are identical. Bliss Linen is stocked, the polyester is stocked in five colors, and any other Sunbrella is made to order.
What polyester colors can I choose?
Five: Eggshell White, Ice Blue, Jet Black, Midnight Blue and Stone. They are solution dyed polyester, meaning the pigment is in the fiber rather than printed on the surface, so the color runs through the yarn. Tell us the color you want when you order.
Will the aluminum frame rust near a pool?
Aluminum does not rust. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it holds up at the joints where outdoor frames usually fail first. Rinse the frame occasionally if it sits right at the water line.
Does the side seat have arms?
No. It is an armless run unit, which is what lets several sit side by side as one continuous seat. The Travira lounge chair and loveseat have Tekwood arm caps if you want arms at the ends.
How many do I need for an L shaped sectional?
An L is built from one corner seat with side seats extending from each side of it. Each side seat adds 29.5 inches to that side of the run. Tell us the length you want on each side and we will help you count the pieces.
Do the units clip together?
Oxford Garden provides a Travira modular assembly document at oxfordgarden.com that covers how the units are arranged and joined. Call us on 631 678-6506 if you want it walked through before you order.
Are the cushions included?
Yes. The seat and back cushions ship with the unit, in the fabric you select.
