Travira Collection
Travira Host Stand Shelves
A complete outdoor host stand: the 21.25 inch square Travira valet base with a shelf at 22.5 inches, plus the host stand topper, supplied together. Assembled it stands 49.5 inches, which is working height for someone standing at it with a book or a tablet.
- Base, shelf and topper in one order. This unit includes the shelf at 22.5 inches and the topper, so it arrives as a finished host stand rather than parts to be matched up.
- 49.5 inches to the working surface. Standing height. A host works over it rather than bending to it, which is the difference between this and a 42.25 inch valet base.
- 21.25 inches square in plan. The same footprint as every other Travira valet unit, so it slots into a run of them without a step in the front line.
- Tekwood panels over powder coated aluminum. Natural or Vintage, on a frame that does not rust at a pool deck or a coastal entrance.

| Option | What it is |
|---|---|
| Tekwood Natural | Tekwood Natural panels. |
| Tekwood Vintage | Tekwood Vintage panels. |
Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Panels. Tekwood, Oxford Garden's wood look outdoor surface, in Natural or Vintage. The choice on this listing sets the panel finish. The structure underneath is the same powder coated aluminum on both.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the aluminum frame rust?
No. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the standard frame material for poolside and coastal service furniture. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it resists chipping at the joints.
How do I clean the Tekwood panels?
Mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth. Tekwood needs no sealing, oiling or annual refinishing. Keep abrasive pads and scouring powder off it, because a dulled patch cannot be blended back in.
Is the topper included?
Yes. This unit includes the shelf at 22.5 inches and the Host Stand Topper. You do not order the topper separately for this one.
How is this different from the valet base shelves?
It is the valet base shelves with the topper on it, sold as its own item. The base on its own stands 42.25 inches; with the topper the assembly stands 49.5 inches.
Is 49.5 inches the right height for a host stand?
It is standing working height. A host reads and writes on the top without stooping, which is why the topper is there rather than simply using the flat top of a valet base.
How many boxes does it arrive in?
Four, at 57 lb, 8 lb, 8 lb and 12 lb. Confirm all four cartons are on the truck before you sign.
Will it stand up outdoors year round?
The aluminum structure and the Tekwood panels are both built for permanent outdoor use and neither needs sealing or refinishing. Bring loose paperwork in, not the stand.
Is it suitable for commercial use?
It is built for it. An outdoor host stand is a commercial fitting, and Travira is specified regularly for hospitality on the strength of its frame and surfaces.
