An 18 inch cube of an end table on a powder coated aluminum base, offered with seven top finishes across three materials. It sits level with the arm of most outdoor lounge chairs, which is the whole job of an end table.
- 18 inches square and 18 inches high. That height lands near the arm of most outdoor lounge chairs, which typically sit between 17 and 21 inches, so a drink goes down without reaching.
- Seven top finishes in three materials. Four high pressure laminate patterns, Lite-Core in Ash, and Tekwood in Natural and Vintage.
- The weight tells you which top you have. 11 pounds with a Tekwood top, 13 with high pressure laminate, 19 with Lite-Core. The Lite-Core version is the one that stays where you put it in wind.
- Built on the Travira frame. The same powder coated aluminum base used across the Travira tables and seating.

The Travira End Table is the 18 inch occasional table in Oxford Garden's Travira range. A powder coated aluminum base with a choice of high pressure laminate, Lite-Core or Tekwood top.
Item code TVET, with a letter for the top you choose. Frames are the Flint powder coat.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
High pressure laminate tops. Layers of resin impregnated paper fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet. Offered on Travira in four patterns: Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight.
Lite-Core tops. Oxford Garden's Lite-Core surface, offered here in Ash. It is the heaviest of the three Travira tops, which is what you feel if the table gets moved often.
Tekwood tops. Oxford Garden's wood look outdoor surface, offered in Natural and Vintage. It carries a grain without the sanding, oiling and sealing a real timber top needs outdoors.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I clean an HPL, Lite-Core or Tekwood top?
Mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth. None of the three needs sealing, oiling or annual refinishing. Keep abrasive pads and scouring powder off them, because a dulled patch cannot be blended back in afterwards.
Will the aluminum frame rust?
No. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the default frame material for poolside and coastal furniture. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it resists chipping at the joints.
What height should an end table be next to a lounge chair?
Roughly level with the chair arm so a drink can be set down without reaching. At 18 inches this one suits most outdoor lounge chairs, whose arms sit between about 17 and 21 inches.
Which of the three top materials should I pick?
High pressure laminate is the hardest wearing and the usual specification for hospitality. Tekwood gives a wood look and is the lightest. Lite-Core in Ash is the heaviest at 19 pounds, which helps in an exposed spot.
Why is only Ash offered in Lite-Core?

Can I use it indoors?
Yes. Nothing about it limits indoor use and the surfaces wipe clean the same way. It is built for weather, which means it will outlast an indoor table in a conservatory or sun room.
Does one end table serve two chairs?
It is 18 inches square, so placed between two lounge chairs both occupants can reach it. A pair of chairs with one end table between them and a coffee table in front is the usual Travira lounge arrangement.
