Travira Collection
Travira Cushioned Lounge Chair, Tekwood Vintage
The cushioned lounge chair in Oxford Garden's Travira program: a powder coated aluminum frame with Tekwood Vintage arm caps, 32 inches deep, with a seat that sits 18 inches off the ground. It is the armchair that anchors a Travira modular group, and it works on its own in a pair.
- A 32 inch deep lounge seat. Deep enough to settle into, with the cushion top at 18 inches so getting back out is easy. That is a lounge seat, not a scaled up dining chair.
- Tekwood Vintage arm caps. The arms are capped in Tekwood Vintage over the powder coated aluminum frame. The Tekwood Natural version of this chair is listed separately.
- Your choice of cushion fabric. Bliss Linen, a stocked solution dyed polyester range in five colors, or any other Sunbrella made to order. The cushion construction is identical whichever you pick.
- Built to the Travira modular geometry. Same 18 inch seat height and 32 inch depth as the Travira modular side seat, corner seat and modular loveseats, so a mixed arrangement sits level.

| Option | What it is |
|---|---|
| Bliss Linen | Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic, stocked for Travira. |
| Solution dyed polyester | Stocked in Eggshell White, Ice Blue, Jet Black, Midnight Blue and Stone. Name the color when you order. Solution dyed means the color is put into the fiber before it is spun, so it is the same color all the way through rather than printed on the face. |
| Other Sunbrella fabrics, made to order | Your choice from the wider Sunbrella range, made to order in the fabric you pick. |
Own fabric orders are quoted by phone, because the cost depends on the material, the yardage and the run. We will confirm the quote with Oxford Garden before anything is ordered.
Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.
What Is Included
- One Travira Cushioned Lounge Chair frame, powder coated aluminum with Tekwood Vintage arm caps
- Seat and back cushions in the fabric you choose
Tables and other Travira pieces shown in our photography are sold separately.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the fabric choices?
Only the cloth. Foam, cover construction and dimensions are identical. Bliss Linen is the stocked Sunbrella, the solution dyed polyester comes in five stocked colors, and any other Sunbrella fabric is made to order.
What colors does the polyester come in?
Five: Eggshell White, Ice Blue, Jet Black, Midnight Blue and Stone. They are solution dyed polyester, meaning the pigment is in the fiber rather than printed on the surface, so the color runs through the yarn. Tell us the color you want when you order.
Can I choose any Sunbrella fabric?
Yes. Any Sunbrella fabric can be made to order. Call 631 678-6506 and we will confirm the fabric before the order goes in.
Will the aluminum frame rust near a pool?
Aluminum does not rust. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it holds up at the joints where outdoor frames usually fail first. Rinse the frame occasionally if it sits right at the water line.
Do the cushions come with the chair?
Yes. The chair is sold complete and the seat and back cushions ship with it, in the fabric you pick.
What is the difference between the Natural and Vintage versions?
Only the arm cap finish. This one has Tekwood Vintage arm caps; the Tekwood Natural version of the chair is listed separately.
Will it sit level with the Travira modular seats?
Yes. The lounge chair, the modular side seat, the modular corner seat and both modular loveseats all use an 18 inch seat height and a 32 inch depth, so cushion tops line up across a mixed arrangement.
How much space does a pair need?
Each chair is 33.5 inches wide, so two side by side with a comfortable gap wants roughly six and a half feet of wall or deck edge. Facing a loveseat across a coffee table is the usual Travira arrangement.
