Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Slats. Tekwood, in Natural, code N, or Vintage, code V. Tekwood is Oxford Garden's wood look slat material and it takes no oil, no sealer and no annual coat.
Frame finish. Flint powder coat, code PC.F. Oxford Garden also offers Travira in Chalk, code PC.W, and Carbon, code PC.C.
What Is Included
- One Travira Counter Chair in the Tekwood colorway selected
Frame Finish
Travira is powder coated marine grade aluminum. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints and around the fastener heads where outdoor furniture usually gives up first.

Care and Maintenance
Tekwood. Rinse it and wipe it with mild soap and water. It is not wood, so there is nothing to oil, sand or seal, and nothing that will split along a grain line.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Counter height or bar height?
Counter. The seat is 23 inches for a 34 to 36 inch counter. The Travira Bar Chair is the bar version at a 32 inch seat and 48 inches overall. The two are easy to confuse in a photograph, so go by seat height.
How much knee room is there?
Thirteen inches under a standard 36 inch counter and eleven under a 34 inch one. Both work; the lower figure is worth measuring against your own counter before you order a row of them.
What is the difference from the sling version?
Surface and weight. The Travira Sling Counter Chair has the same 18.5 inch width, 23 inch seat and 39.5 inch height, but a stretched sling panel instead of boards, at 7.5 lb against 13 lb.
Natural or Vintage?
The two Tekwood colorways, identical in price, dimensions and weight. Only the last letter of the item code changes, N or V.
What frame color is this?
Flint, code PC.F. Oxford Garden also offers Travira in Chalk, PC.W, and Carbon, PC.C. Ask us before you order if you want one of those instead.
Can it live outside all year?
Yes. Marine grade aluminum does not rust, so the frame is not depending on the coating staying perfect to survive the winter. Wash it with mild soap and water when it looks dirty and leave it where it is.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be called to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb; carrying it through a gate or onto a deck is not part of the service, so have a second pair of hands ready.
Does it come assembled?
It ships in one 20 lb carton measuring 50 by 20 by 23 inches, which is the whole stool. There is no top and base to join the way there is on the Travira tables.
