Travira Coffee Table
The rectangular coffee table for a Travira lounge group: a 41.75 by 27.5 inch top at 19.5 inches high on a powder coated aluminum base. That puts it just above the 18 inch Travira seat line, which is where a coffee table wants to be.
- 19.5 inches high against an 18 inch seat. An inch and a half above the Travira cushion line. Low enough to read as a coffee table, high enough that you are not reaching down past your knees.
- 41.75 by 27.5 inches of top. Nearly three and a half feet long and over two feet deep, which is enough for a tray, a stack of books and drinks for four without crowding.
- Six top finishes. Four high pressure laminate patterns, Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight, plus Tekwood in Natural and Vintage.
- Ships flat in a 4 inch carton. The whole table travels in a 44 by 30 by 4 inch box at 36 pounds.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
High pressure laminate tops. Layers of resin impregnated paper fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet. Offered on Travira in four patterns: Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight.
Tekwood tops. Oxford Garden's wood look outdoor surface, offered in Natural and Vintage. It carries a grain without the sanding, oiling and sealing a real timber top needs outdoors.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I clean an HPL or Tekwood top?
Mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth. Neither needs sealing, oiling or annual refinishing. Keep abrasive pads and scouring powder off them, because a dulled patch cannot be blended back in afterwards.
Will the aluminum frame rust?
No. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the default frame material for poolside and coastal furniture. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it resists chipping at the joints.
How high should a coffee table be next to outdoor lounge seating?
Level with the seat or an inch or two above it. At 19.5 inches this table sits an inch and a half over the 18 inch Travira seat height, which is the arrangement Oxford Garden designed the two around.
How much space do I need around it?
Allow 14 to 18 inches between the table edge and the front of the seating so people can pass and stretch their legs. With a 41.75 by 27.5 inch top that puts the working footprint at roughly six feet by five.
Which top should I choose?
High pressure laminate for the hardest wearing surface, particularly in commercial use, and Tekwood for a wood look. HPL is about nine and a half pounds heavier on this table.
Does it pair with the Travira modular seating?
Yes. The Travira cushioned lounge chair, cushioned loveseat and all four modular units use an 18 inch seat height, and this table is designed against that figure.
