Travira 63" Rectangular Dining Table
A 63 by 40 inch rectangular dining table with an umbrella hole through the middle. Six chairs fit, two to a long side and one at each end, and the 40 inch depth leaves room down the center for serving dishes.
- 63 by 40 inches, seats six. The 40 inch depth is what separates this from a narrow patio table. There is a usable center strip once six place settings are down.
- Six tops. Four high pressure laminate finishes and two Tekwood finishes, over the same Flint powder coated aluminum base.
- Umbrella through the center. 2 inch, 50 mm hole with a plug. Standard on the Tekwood tops, an option on the laminate tops.
- 68 to 82.5 lb assembled. Movable by two people, which a 103 inch Travira table is not.

The Travira 63 inch rectangular dining table seats six at standard dining height on a powder coated marine grade aluminum base, and takes a market umbrella through the center of the top.

Table Top Options
Travira tables are built on one powder coated aluminum base and offered with more than one top material. The base, the footprint and the table height do not change between them. What changes is the top, and the top is what changes the look and the weight.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Frame finish. Flint, a gray powder coat.
HPL tops. High pressure laminate. The sheet is non porous, so spilled wine and sunscreen sit on the surface rather than soaking in, and it is never sealed or oiled.
Tekwood tops. Oxford Garden's wood grain composite, offered in Natural and Vintage. It reads as timber across the table but takes no annual treatment and does not silver the way real teak does.
Lite-Core tops. A cast core top offered on Travira only, in Ash and Charcoal. It is by a wide margin the heaviest of the three: on the Travira cafe tables a Lite-Core top carton runs 68 lb against 30 lb for Tekwood.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
HPL and Lite-Core tops. Non porous. Wipe down with mild soap and water. No sealer, no oil, no wax.
Tekwood tops. Same routine. Tekwood is a composite, so it does not need the annual oiling a natural wood top would, and it does not weather to gray.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the top materials?
They are different tops on an identical base. HPL is a high pressure laminate. Tekwood is a wood grain composite. Lite-Core is offered on Travira only. The footprint, the height and the frame do not change; the top sets the look and most of the weight.
What color is the frame?
Flint, a soft gray powder coat over marine grade aluminum. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the welds and corners where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Does it need assembly?
Yes, and the carton count depends on the top. The laminate version ships as one 66 by 43 inch carton at 91 lb; the Tekwood version splits into a 65 lb top carton and a 6 lb base carton. Either way the base bolts to the top on site and two people make it easy.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. Powder coated aluminum does not rust, and none of the three top materials needs sealing, oiling or waxing. Wash it with mild soap and water. Nothing has to come indoors at the end of the season.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb only, so arrange help for moving it through a gate or onto a deck.
How many chairs fit, and where?
Six. Two on each 63 inch side and one at each 40 inch end. If you would rather not seat the ends, four sit very comfortably with the umbrella up and room left in the middle for food.
How much lighter is the Tekwood version?
Assembled, 68 lb against 82.5 lb for the laminate. That is the top doing it; the base is the same on both. If the table will be moved off a deck for winter, the Tekwood top is the one two people will thank you for.
