Travira Collection
Travira 48 in Square Chat Table
A four foot square table at 20.5 inches high, which is chat height: taller than a coffee table, well below dining height, sized to be surrounded by lounge seating. Seven top finishes across high pressure laminate, Lite-Core and Tekwood.
- 47 inches square at 20.5 inches high. Chat height. Two and a half inches above the 18 inch Travira seat line, so it works as a shared table for a group of lounge chairs rather than a footwell.
- Square, so everyone is the same distance away. A 47 inch square puts four lounge chairs on four equal faces. That is what a chat table is for and it is why the geometry is square rather than rectangular.
- Seven top finishes in three materials. Four high pressure laminate patterns, Lite-Core Ash, and Tekwood in Natural and Vintage.
- Ships flat in two boxes. The top and the base travel separately and are assembled on site.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
High pressure laminate tops. Layers of resin impregnated paper fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet. Offered on Travira in four patterns: Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight.
Lite-Core tops. Oxford Garden's Lite-Core surface, offered here in Ash. It is the heaviest of the three Travira tops, which is what you feel if the table gets moved often.
Tekwood tops. Oxford Garden's wood look outdoor surface, offered in Natural and Vintage. It carries a grain without the sanding, oiling and sealing a real timber top needs outdoors.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I clean an HPL, Lite-Core or Tekwood top?
Mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth. None of the three needs sealing, oiling or annual refinishing. Keep abrasive pads and scouring powder off them, because a dulled patch cannot be blended back in afterwards.
Will the aluminum frame rust?
No. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the default frame material for poolside and coastal furniture. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it resists chipping at the joints.
How big is the table?
It measures 47 inches square assembled, the Travira "48 in" chat table. Use the 47 inch figure when you plan the space.
What is a chat table?
A table at around 20 inches, between coffee table height and dining height, meant to be surrounded by lounge seating rather than dining chairs. At 20.5 inches this one sits just above the 18 inch Travira seat line.
How many chairs fit around it?
Four comfortably, one to a face. At 47 inches square each side is nearly four feet, which takes a Travira cushioned lounge chair on each without corners fouling.
Why is the Lite-Core version so much heavier?
Lite-Core is the densest of the three Travira tops. Its top box weighs 98 pounds against 63 for high pressure laminate and 47 for Tekwood, which is worth knowing if the table will ever be lifted.
Does it need assembling?
Yes. The top and the base ship as two separate boxes and go together on site. Oxford Garden provides Travira table assembly documents at oxfordgarden.com.
Can it take an umbrella?
This table is not listed with an umbrella hole. Call us on 631 678-6506 before ordering if you need one and we will confirm with Oxford Garden.
