Travira 38" Square Bar Table
The square bar table in the Travira line: a 38 inch top at 41.5 inches, on the same 23 inch weighted column as the round. Square suits a wall or a corner better than a round does, and it seats four cleanly.
- 38 inches square at standing height. A full side per person for four, with a single column underneath rather than four corner legs.
- Six tops. Four high pressure laminate finishes and two Tekwood finishes, over the same Flint powder coated aluminum base.
- A 52 lb base plate. Over half the shipping weight of this table is the base, which is what holds a 38 inch square top steady at 41.5 inches.

The Travira 38 inch square bar table is a standing height pedestal table in powder coated marine grade aluminum. The square top takes a wall or a corner better than a round one, and the single weighted column keeps all four sides clear.

Table Top Options
Travira tables are built on one powder coated aluminum base and offered with more than one top material. The base, the footprint and the table height do not change between them. What changes is the top, and the top changes the look and the weight.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Frame finish. Flint, a gray powder coat.
HPL tops. High pressure laminate. The sheet is non porous, so spilled wine and sunscreen sit on the surface rather than soaking in, and it is never sealed or oiled.
Tekwood tops. Oxford Garden's wood grain composite, offered in Natural and Vintage. It reads as timber across the table but takes no annual treatment and does not silver the way real teak does.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
HPL tops. Non porous. Wipe down with mild soap and water. No sealer, no oil, no wax.
Tekwood tops. Same routine. Tekwood is a composite, so it does not need the annual oiling a natural wood top would, and it does not weather to gray.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

They are different tops on an identical base. HPL is a high pressure laminate. Tekwood is a wood grain composite. The footprint, the height and the frame do not change; the top sets the look and most of the weight.
What color is the frame?
Flint, a soft gray powder coat over marine grade aluminum. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the welds and corners where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. It arrives in 3 cartons with the top packed separately from the column and base, and they bolt together on site. Plan on two people. The top carton is the heavy one and it is awkward rather than difficult.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. Powder coated aluminum does not rust, and neither top material needs sealing, oiling or waxing. Wash it with mild soap and water. Nothing has to come indoors at the end of the season.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb only, so arrange help for moving it through a gate or onto a deck.
Is it a 37 inch or a 38 inch table?
It is one table with an assembled size of 38 by 38 inches, and that is how we list it. Oxford Garden's own names for the laminate and Tekwood versions differ by an inch, but the measured size is the same.
