Travira Collection
Travira 36" Cafe Bistro Table
The cafe table in the Travira line: 36.5 inches square, 29.5 inches high, on a four post aluminum base. It takes an umbrella through a 2 inch hole in the center of the top, and with a Tekwood top it is the lightest square dining height table in the collection at 31 lb.
- Eight tops across three materials. Four high pressure laminate finishes, two Lite-Core and two Tekwood, all on the same Flint powder coated aluminum base.
- The lightest Travira square, or the heaviest. A Tekwood top brings the assembled table to 31 lb. The same table with a Lite-Core top is 66 lb. Pick for how often you plan to move it.
- Takes a market umbrella. A 2 inch, 50 mm umbrella hole with a plug. Standard on the Lite-Core and Tekwood tops, optional on the laminate tops.
- Two carton shipment. The top and the base pack separately, so the table is joined on site rather than wrestled out of one oversized box.
Details and specifications
Product Details
The Travira cafe bistro table is the square dining height table in the collection that takes an umbrella. At 36.5 inches it seats four, and the cafe base keeps the footprint small enough for a balcony or a tight courtyard.
Item code TV36FTA, with a letter for the top. Frames are the Flint powder coat.

Table Top Options
Travira tables are built on one powder coated aluminum base and offered with more than one top material. The base, the footprint and the table height do not change between them. What changes is the top, and the top is what changes the look and the weight.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Frame finish. Flint, a gray powder coat.
HPL tops. High pressure laminate. The sheet is non porous, so spilled wine and sunscreen sit on the surface rather than soaking in, and it is never sealed or oiled.
Tekwood tops. Oxford Garden's wood grain composite, offered in Natural and Vintage. It reads as timber across the table but takes no annual treatment and does not silver the way real teak does.
Lite-Core tops. A cast core top offered on Travira only, in Ash and Charcoal. It is by a wide margin the heaviest of the three: on the Travira cafe tables a Lite-Core top carton runs 68 lb against 30 lb for Tekwood.
What Is Included
- One 36.5" square table top in the finish you choose
- One powder coated aluminum cafe base
- One umbrella hole plug
- Assembly hardware

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
HPL and Lite-Core tops. Non porous. Wipe down with mild soap and water. No sealer, no oil, no wax.
Tekwood tops. Same routine. Tekwood is a composite, so it does not need the annual oiling a natural wood top would, and it does not weather to gray.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the top materials?
They are different tops on an identical base. HPL is a high pressure laminate. Tekwood is a wood grain composite. Lite-Core is offered on Travira only. The footprint, the height and the frame do not change; the top sets the look and most of the weight.
What color is the frame?
Flint, a soft gray powder coat over marine grade aluminum. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the welds and corners where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. It arrives in 2 cartons with the top packed separately from the base, and the two bolt together on site. Plan on two people. The top carton is the heavy one and it is awkward rather than difficult.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. Powder coated aluminum does not rust, and none of the three top materials needs sealing, oiling or waxing. Wash it with mild soap and water. Nothing has to come indoors at the end of the season.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb only, so arrange help for moving it through a gate or onto a deck.
Which top should I choose if I move the table around?
Tekwood. The assembled table is 31 lb with a Tekwood top against 66 lb with Lite-Core, so a Tekwood cafe table can be picked up and repositioned by one person and a Lite-Core one really cannot.
What size umbrella pole does the hole take?
The hole is 2 inches, which is 50 mm, and it ships with a plug for when no umbrella is in it. On the high pressure laminate tops the hole is an option rather than standard, so tell us if you want one drilled.
What else is in the Travira collection?
Side chairs, armchairs, bar chairs, benches, sling chairs and chaises, plus tables from a 26 inch bistro up to a 103 inch rectangular dining table. Everything shares the same powder coated aluminum frame, so pieces bought apart still read as a set.
