Travira 24" Round Bistro Table
A 24 inch round pedestal table at dining height. It is the smallest round top Oxford Garden draws for Travira: a two seat table for a balcony, a courtyard corner or the end of a long terrace where a full dining table would not fit.
- Two feet across, seats two. Seventy five inches of edge, which is a generous place setting each for two people and a tight squeeze for three.
- A 17 inch pedestal base. The base is narrower than the top, so nothing is competing with your feet and chairs pull straight in from any side.
- Six tops, one table. Four HPL colorways and two Tekwood, on the same Flint powder coated column and base.
- Thirty pounds of that weight is the base. The mass sits at floor level, which is what keeps a small round table from walking across a windy terrace.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
HPL tops. High pressure laminate: paper and resin fused under heat and pressure into a dense sheet. It does not take a water ring, it does not silver in the sun and a hot mug will not mark it. Four colorways: Marshland Oak, code D, Enigma, code G, Starlight, code S, and Skyline, code Y.
Tekwood tops. Slatted Tekwood in Natural, code N, or Vintage, code V. The slatted top drains, which is why it is the lighter of the two by several pounds.

Shipping and Delivery
This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 54 lb.

Care and Maintenance
Table top. Soap, water and a cloth. HPL is non porous, so a spill sits on the surface rather than soaking in. Tekwood slats rinse clean and drain between the boards. Skip abrasive powders on both.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people fit at a 24 inch round?
Two. The top gives 75 inches of edge, so two settings have about 37 inches each. Three is possible for drinks but not for plates.
What chair height goes with it?
Anything with a 17 to 18 inch seat. The Travira Armchair and Side Chair are 17 inches, which leaves 12.5 inches of clearance under the 29.5 inch top.
HPL or Tekwood: what is the real difference?
Surface and weight. HPL is a solid, non porous laminate sheet, so a spill sits on top of it and a hot mug leaves no mark. Tekwood is slatted, so rain drains straight through and the table is a few pounds lighter.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. It arrives as three cartons, top, column and base, and the three bolt together. Two people and fifteen minutes. Unpack all three before you start so you can check the top for transit damage while the shipment is still on the receipt.
What frame color is this?

Can it live outside all year?
Yes. Marine grade aluminum does not rust, so the frame is not depending on the coating staying perfect to survive the winter. Wash it with mild soap and water when it looks dirty and leave it where it is.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be called to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb; carrying it through a gate or onto a deck is not part of the service, so have a second pair of hands ready.
Is it stable enough to leave outside in wind?
The base alone is 30 lb of the 46.5 lb total, so the weight is at the floor rather than at the top. On an exposed roof terrace, the 26 inch square or the 32 inch round give you more mass again.
