Travira 103" Rectangular Dining Table
Eight and a half feet of table, 42 inches deep, at 30 inches high. This is the piece you buy when ten people eat outside regularly, and it is the largest table in the Travira line.
- 103.25 inches long, seats ten. Four a side and one at each end. The 42 inch depth holds a full center run of dishes without crowding place settings.
- Six tops. Four high pressure laminate finishes and two Tekwood finishes, over the same Flint powder coated aluminum base.
- 30 inches high, not 29.5. Half an inch taller than the rest of the Travira dining tables, which is worth knowing if you are matching it to an existing set.
- A 106 inch carton. The top ships in a crate over nine feet long. Measure the approach to the delivery point before the truck arrives.

Table Top Options
Travira tables are built on one powder coated aluminum base and offered with more than one top material. The base, the footprint and the table height do not change between them. What changes is the top, and the top changes the look and the weight.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Frame finish. Flint, a gray powder coat.
HPL tops. High pressure laminate. The sheet is non porous, so spilled wine and sunscreen sit on the surface rather than soaking in, and it is never sealed or oiled.
Tekwood tops. Oxford Garden's wood grain composite, offered in Natural and Vintage. It reads as timber across the table but takes no annual treatment and does not silver the way real teak does.

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 152 lb.

Care and Maintenance
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
HPL tops. Non porous. Wipe down with mild soap and water. No sealer, no oil, no wax.
Tekwood tops. Same routine. Tekwood is a composite, so it does not need the annual oiling a natural wood top would, and it does not weather to gray.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

What is the difference between the top materials?
They are different tops on an identical base. HPL is a high pressure laminate. Tekwood is a wood grain composite. The footprint, the height and the frame do not change; the top sets the look and most of the weight.
What color is the frame?
Flint, a soft gray powder coat over marine grade aluminum. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the welds and corners where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. It ships in 2 cartons, with the top packed separately from the base, and the two bolt together on site. Plan on two people. The top carton is the heavy one, and it is awkward rather than difficult.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. Powder coated aluminum does not rust, and neither top material needs sealing, oiling or waxing. Wash it with mild soap and water. Nothing has to come indoors at the end of the season.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver brings it to the curb only, so arrange help for moving it through a gate or onto a deck.
Will the carton get into my yard?
That is the question to answer before ordering. The laminate top ships in a 106 by 46 by 5 inch carton and the Tekwood top in a 110 by 48 by 9 inch carton, both over 125 lb. A tight side gate or a switchback path will not take it.
Is it the same height as the other Travira dining tables?
Almost. This one is 30 inches high and the rest of the Travira dining tables are 29.5 inches. The Travira side chair and armchair work at both, but if you are butting two tables together you will see the half inch.
What else is in the Travira collection?
Side chairs, armchairs, bar chairs, benches, sling chairs and chaises, plus tables from a 26 inch bistro up to a 103 inch rectangular dining table. Everything shares the same powder coated aluminum frame, so pieces bought apart still read as a set.
