Cushion and Fabric Options
Oxford Garden prices cushions by fabric grade. The cushion itself does not change between grades. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical; what changes is the Sunbrella fabric book you are choosing from, and that is what moves the price.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive, and it stays light enough that one person can move the piece without help. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Feet. Leg end caps are fitted at the factory so the frame does not mark decking, tile or stone when it is slid rather than lifted.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

How Seavo's Grades Work
Seavo is unusual in stocking a fabric at both ends of the grade ladder. Grade 2A is stocked in Bliss Linen and Grade B is stocked in Mainstreet Dove, so two of the three lines are settled fabrics rather than an open book. Grade A sits between them and is made to order.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The powder coated aluminum frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What counter height does a 31 inch seat suit?
A bar surface around 42 inches. If your outdoor island is 36 inches that is counter height and this stool will sit you too high; you would want a seat nearer 24 to 26 inches instead.
How many fit along my bar?
Each stool is 25.75 inches wide, which is broad for a stool. Allow about 28 to 30 inches apiece so people can get on and off. A seven foot bar takes three comfortably rather than four.
Why is the stool wider than the dining chairs?
Because it has no arms and sits 31 inches up. Width at the seat and at the foot is what keeps an armless stool feeling planted when you swivel to talk to whoever is next to you.
What is the difference between the grades?
They are fabric price tiers, not different cushions. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical across all three. Grade 2A is Bliss Linen and Grade B is Mainstreet Dove, both stocked for Seavo. Grade A is made to order in whichever Sunbrella you pick.
What does the frame actually look like?

Can I leave it outside all year?
The powder coated aluminum frame can stay out. The 2 inch pad lasts much longer stored dry or covered during long stretches when the bar is not in use.
