Cushion and Fabric Options
Oxford Garden prices cushions by fabric grade. The cushion itself does not change between grades. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical; what changes is the Sunbrella fabric book you are choosing from, and that is what moves the price.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive, and it stays light enough that one person can move the piece without help. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Feet. Leg end caps are fitted at the factory so the frame does not mark decking, tile or stone when it is slid rather than lifted.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

How Seavo's Grades Work
Seavo is unusual in stocking a fabric at both ends of the grade ladder. Grade 2A is stocked in Bliss Linen and Grade B is stocked in Mainstreet Dove, so two of the three lines are settled fabrics rather than an open book. Grade A sits between them and is made to order.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The powder coated aluminum frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit under my dining table?
The seat is 19.25 inches high, which is tall for an outdoor dining chair. Against a 29 inch table you have just under 10 inches of thigh clearance, which is comfortable. Against a 28 inch table it will feel tight.
How is this different from the Seavo Side Chair?
Arms, and 3.75 inches of extra width. The armchair is 23.75 inches across against the side chair's 20, and its seat sits a quarter inch lower at 19.25 inches. They share the same seat cushion size.
What is the difference between the grades?
They are fabric price tiers, not different cushions. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical across all three. Grade 2A is Bliss Linen and Grade B is Mainstreet Dove, both stocked for Seavo. Grade A is made to order in whichever Sunbrella you pick.
What does the frame actually look like?
The Seavo frame is drawn around a set of intentional curves on a lean aluminum section, which is what makes a chair this light look substantial. Oxford Garden describes the collection as balancing neoclassical and contemporary form, and the curve of the back is where you see it.
Is a 2.25 inch pad enough?
For dining, yes. A thin pad takes the edge off the seat without lifting you away from the table or holding water the way a deep cushion can. Seavo's lounge pieces use 4.5 inch cushions instead.
Can I leave it outside all year?
The powder coated aluminum frame can stay out through the season without concern. The seat pad lasts much longer if you store it dry or keep the chairs covered when nobody is using them for weeks at a time.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. Even packed two to a carton the box measures 38 by 29 by 40 inches, well past parcel limits, so the carrier arranges a delivery window with you.
