Ponte 36" Square Dining Table
The small square in the Ponte range: a 36 inch high pressure laminate top on a welded aluminum frame, at a standard 29.5 inch dining height. It seats four without crowding and takes up the footprint of a three foot square, which is what makes it work on a balcony or a narrow terrace.
- 36 inches square, four seats. A square top puts everyone the same distance from everyone else. At 36 inches each side there is a place setting per side with the middle still free for a serving dish.
- An HPL top, not a timber one. High pressure laminate does not take a water ring, does not need oiling and does not silver in the sun. Three finishes are offered here: Enigma, Marshland Oak and Skyline.
- Adjustable feet and leg glides. The feet screw up and down so the table sits flat on an uneven terrace, and the glides keep the legs from scoring stone or decking.
- Optional umbrella hole. Oxford Garden lists an optional 2 inch (50mm) umbrella hole with a plug, so the same table works with a shade or without one.

Table Top Options
The high pressure laminate tops are priced identically. The frame, the dimensions and the construction do not change between them, so the choice is purely which surface you want.
| Option | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| HPL Enigma | Enigma, HPL code G. | $2,387 |
| HPL Marshland Oak | Marshland Oak, HPL code D. The wood toned option. | $2,387 |
| HPL Skyline | Skyline, HPL code Y. | $2,387 |
Materials and Construction
Frame. Powder coated aluminum, welded from heavy gauge stock with die cast components and stainless steel hardware. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Top. High pressure laminate. Layers of paper and resin are fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet, which is why an HPL top stays flat outdoors, does not absorb a spill, does not need sealing and does not silver in the sun the way timber does.
Feet. Adjustable feet with leg glides, so the table can be levelled on an uneven terrace without packing anything under a leg, and so it does not score a stone or a deck board when it is moved.
Frame finish. The price list prints the item code with the powder coat character left open, as -PC_. Oxford Garden builds the Ponte tables in its powder coat range at one price, and the finish is confirmed with you at order rather than being fixed by the item you add to the cart.
What Is Included
- One Ponte 36 inch square dining table: high pressure laminate top in the finish you select, on a powder coated aluminum frame
- Adjustable feet with leg glides, fitted
Chairs and umbrellas shown in our photography are sold separately. The umbrella hole is an option Oxford Garden lists for this table; tell us at order if you want it.
Frame Finish
Every Ponte item code in the Oxford Garden 2026 price list ends -PC_. The underscore is the powder coat character, and the price list does not fix it: the frame color is a choice you make, not a separate price line.
We confirm the frame finish with you from Oxford Garden's powder coat range before the order is placed. Call 631 678-6506 or email customerservice@aquaterrabackyard.com and we will read the current range back to you and put the code on the order.
We do not print a default frame color on this listing, because the price list does not publish one and we will not put a finish on your order that we cannot source.

Care and Maintenance
HPL top. Soap, water and a cloth. The surface is non porous, so a wet glass leaves nothing behind. Avoid abrasive powders and solvent cleaners, which dull the sheen.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. There is nothing in an HPL top on an aluminum frame that rots, rusts or needs refinishing. The table can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people does it seat?
Four. A 36 inch square gives one place setting per side with room left in the middle, and the 29.5 inch height clears a standard dining chair. Oxford Garden lists it as a four seat table.
What is HPL?
High pressure laminate: layers of paper and resin fused under heat and pressure into a single dense sheet. Outdoors that gives you a top that stays flat, does not absorb a spill, does not need oiling or sealing and holds its color through direct sun.
Is there a Starlight top for this table?
No. The Oxford Garden 2026 price list offers Enigma, Marshland Oak and Skyline on the 36 inch and 39 inch Ponte squares. Starlight is listed only on the 86 inch Ponte table, so we do not offer it here.
What color is the frame?
You choose it. Oxford Garden prints the Ponte item code as -PC_, with the powder coat character left open, and does not charge differently for it. We confirm the finish with you from Oxford Garden's powder coat range before the order goes in.
Does it arrive assembled?
The carton is 38 x 38 x 6 inches against a finished height of 29.5 inches, so the table ships flat rather than built. Oxford Garden publishes a Ponte table assembly guide covering the frame and the top.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. An HPL top on a powder coated aluminum frame has nothing in it that rots, rusts or needs refinishing, and the adjustable feet keep it level on a terrace that moves with the seasons. Wash it with soap and water and leave it where it is.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, at 53 lb. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver stops at the curb, so plan the route to the terrace before the day.
What is the difference between this and the 39 inch Ponte?
Three inches each way and about 8 lb. Both are four seat squares at the same height with the same three tops. The 36 inch suits a tight balcony; the 39 inch gives a little more elbow room per seat.
