What is the Nomi Modular Corner Seat made of?
The weave is resin wicker over an aluminum frame. Unlike natural cane it does not absorb water, split in frost or grow brittle in sun, and the color runs through the strand rather than sitting on the surface, so a scuff does not show a pale core.
The frame is powder coated aluminum. Powder coat is applied dry and electrostatically, then cured under heat into a continuous shell, which gives a harder and more chip resistant surface than wet paint. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the default frame material for poolside and coastal use.
The cushions are Sunbrella Grade B in Mainstreet Dove. Sunbrella is solution dyed, so the color is part of the fiber rather than printed on it, which is why it holds up to sun far better than a dyed fabric and can be cleaned wet.
What finishes can I order?
Greige resin wicker on a Taupe powder coated frame, with Mainstreet Dove Sunbrella cushions. That is the configuration Oxford Garden stocks, and it is what is in stock now.
Greige and Earthen are the two wicker colors Oxford Garden restricts to the Nomi collection. Earthen and other powder coats are made to order on lead time.
The price list also prints a Grade A cushion line against the Nomi seating, but every Grade A fabric Oxford Garden publishes is restricted to the Mende collection, so there is no Grade A fabric orderable on a Nomi frame.
How do I care for resin wicker?
Brush the cushions off and hose them down with mild soapy water, then stand them on edge to dry. Sunbrella and olefin covers are made to be cleaned wet.
Bring the cushions in or box them at the end of the season. The frame can stay out; it is the foam that suffers from months of damp.
Wipe the frame with mild soapy water and rinse. Powder coated aluminum needs no waxing, sealing or rust treatment.

Side seats form the straight runs, corner seats turn ninety degrees, and the left and right loveseats close the ends. All share a 32.25 inch module and a 16.75 inch seat height, so any combination lines up flush.
Why is there no Grade A cushion option?
Because there is no Grade A fabric available on Nomi. The price list prints a Grade A line, but every Grade A fabric Oxford Garden publishes is restricted to the Mende collection, so that line has no orderable fabric behind it.
Why is the corner heavier than the side seat?
It carries two arms and the structure to turn the run, where a side seat carries none. That is 43.75 pounds against 34.5, and it is the reason a corner anchors a group rather than drifting.
How quickly does this ship?
