What is the Nette End Table made of?
The frame is powder coated aluminum. Powder coat is applied dry and electrostatically, then cured under heat into a continuous shell, which gives a harder and more chip resistant surface than wet paint. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the default frame material for poolside and coastal use.
High pressure laminate is built from layers of resin impregnated paper fused under heat and pressure into one dense sheet. It is hard, scratch resistant and will not swell, which is why it is the usual specification for hospitality tables wiped down through service.
What finishes can I order?
Four laminate tops: Enigma, Marshland Oak, Skyline and Starlight. All four are Quick Ship, and the frame is Carbon powder coat as stocked.

A note on the photography: the first photograph shows the Carbon base we stock. Oxford Garden also photographs this table on a Taupe base and in other top finishes, so a second image in the gallery may show a finish combination other than the one you have selected. The base you receive is Carbon.
How do I care for this piece?
Wipe the frame down with mild soapy water and rinse. Powder coated aluminum needs no waxing, sealing or rust treatment.
Avoid abrasive pads and scouring powders, which dull the powder coat and leave a polished patch that cannot be blended back in afterwards.
Check the glides under each leg once a season. A missing glide is the usual cause of scratching on stone, tile and composite decking.
