Nette Club Chair
A deep lounge chair on a powder coated aluminum frame, with Nette's woven strap wrapping the outside and a full cushion inside it. At 35.5 inches wide and 35 deep it is close to square in plan, which is what gives it the settled, low proportion of the Nette lounge group.
- Woven strap outside, cushion inside. The strap is the structure and the pattern; the cushion is what you sit on. Nette is one of only two Oxford Garden collections built this way.
- Nearly square in plan. 35.5 inches wide by 35 deep, on a 17.25 inch seat. It reads low and wide rather than tall and upright.
- An olefin option, too. Nette carries an olefin in Seafoam and Tangerine alongside the Sunbrella fabrics, which is unique to this collection.
- 29 pounds. Heavy enough to stay where you put it, light enough to move around a terrace on your own.

The Nette Club Chair is the single seat in the collection's lounge group. A powder coated aluminum frame is wrapped in hand woven outdoor strap and carries a full seat and back cushion, on a 17.25 inch seat shared with the Nette loveseat and sofa.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on its coating staying perfect in order to survive, and it stays light enough that one person can move a chair without help. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Strap. Nette's seat and back are woven from flat outdoor strap, hand run over the aluminum frame. Water passes straight through the gaps rather than sitting in foam, and the strap carries its color through the material. Oxford Garden weaves this strap on two collections only, Nette and Malti.
Cushions. The Sunbrella fabrics are solution dyed acrylic, where the color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth. The olefin, in Seafoam and Tangerine, is a different fiber and not a thinner cushion.

Cushion Fabric Choices
Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical whichever fabric you choose. Three come in set fabrics, so they ship in a known cloth; the made to order option is the only one that is not stocked.

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 40 lb.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring them in or cover the piece when it is not in use for long stretches.
Strap. Hose it down and let it dry. It drains on its own and does not need to come inside.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the olefin a lesser cushion?
No. Olefin is a different fiber from Sunbrella acrylic, and Oxford Garden stocks it in Seafoam and Tangerine. The cushion itself is the same cushion, so olefin is a color and fiber choice rather than a cheaper build.
How does it sit next to the Nette loveseat and sofa?
Level. All three lounge pieces share a 17.25 inch seat height and 35 inches of depth, so a club chair pulled up beside a loveseat makes one continuous line rather than a step.
Do people buy these in pairs?
Usually. Two club chairs facing a loveseat or sofa across the Nette coffee table is how the collection is drawn, and the 40.5 inch square coffee table is sized for exactly that arrangement.
Can I choose any Sunbrella fabric?
Yes. Bliss Linen and Mainstreet Dove are stocked, and any other Sunbrella fabric is made to order. Call 631 678-6506 and we will confirm the fabric before the order goes in.
Can it stay outside all year?
The frame and the strap can. Aluminum does not rust and the strap drains and dries unaided. The cushions last considerably longer stored dry or under a cover off season.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. The carton is 37 by 37 by 22 inches at 40 pounds, outside parcel limits, so the carrier calls to arrange a window.
