Mena 36" Round Bistro Table in HPL
A round dining table in high pressure laminate, named a 36 inch model and measuring 35.5 inches across by 29 inches high. Four chairs go around it properly, and an HPL top handles a real meal outdoors better than most surfaces do.
- 29 inches high. Dining height. A chair with a seat around 18 inches leaves about 11 inches of clearance under the top.
- 35.5 inches across. Roughly 111 inches of edge, which is about 28 inches per person with four chairs. Enough for plates and a shared dish in the middle.
- Four HPL colors. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Starlight and Skyline.
- HPL is the outdoor dining surface. It does not swell, it does not stain from a knocked over glass, and it wipes clean rather than needing to be scrubbed.

Materials and Construction
Column and base. All weather resin wicker, hand woven over the Mena column. The strand is synthetic and colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so it does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or show a pale core where a chair back scuffs it.
Finish. The frame is powder coated, and the coat is specified when you order. Oxford Garden offers seventeen powder coats for Mena. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it holds at the edges and joints where an outdoor finish usually gives out first.
Top. HPL, high pressure laminate. A dense sheet top made for outdoor duty: it does not swell when it is rained on, it wipes clean, and it takes a hot dish or a dragged glass without marking the way a softer surface does. Mena takes four HPL colors.

Care and Maintenance
Resin wicker. Hose it off, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into the weave with a soft brush and rinse it out. Grit trapped between the strands is what wears a weave, not weather.
Powder coated frame. Mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
HPL top. Wipe it down with mild soap and water. It needs no sealing, oiling or waxing. Skip abrasive powders, which leave a dulled patch you cannot polish back out.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

Yes. The weave is colored through the strand rather than surface dyed, the powder coat is baked on, and both top materials are made for outdoor duty. What actually wears a woven column is grit left in the weave, so rinse it out a couple of times a season.
