Mena Collection
Mena 24" Square Bar Table in Tekwood
The Tekwood version of Mena's 24 inch square bar table, 40.75 inches to the top. Same woven column and the same footprint as the HPL version, with a wood grain top instead of a laminate one.
- 40.75 inches, bar height. Built for a stool with a seat around 30 inches, which leaves close to 11 inches under the top.
- Tekwood, Natural or Vintage. A planked wood grain reading across the top, without the annual sealing a real timber top asks for.
- A square top for a square space. 24 inches on every side, so it sits flat against a railing and two of them line up into a 48 inch run.
- Two tones. Natural and Vintage share the same build, so the decision is the look.
Details and specifications
Product Details
The Mena 24 inch square bar table in Tekwood is a two person standing height table: a wood grain top at 40.75 inches on a hand woven resin wicker column. It shares its footprint and its cartons with the HPL version and differs only in what the top is made of.
Manufacturer item codes MN24SBRN-PC, MN24SBRV-PC, each with a suffix for the powder coat. The top is Tekwood, in Natural or Vintage. The column and base are all weather resin wicker woven over a powder coated frame, and the powder coat is named on the order rather than picked from stock.

Materials and Construction
Column and base. All weather resin wicker, hand woven over the Mena column. The strand is synthetic and colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so it does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or show a pale core where a chair back scuffs it.
Finish. The frame is powder coated, and the coat is specified when you order. Oxford Garden offers seventeen powder coats for Mena. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it holds at the edges and joints where an outdoor finish usually gives out first.
Top. Tekwood, Oxford Garden's wood grain outdoor top, in Natural and Vintage. It reads as planked timber across the table and is built to stay outside, so there is no annual sealing to keep up with and no grain to lift after a wet week.

Care and Maintenance
Resin wicker. Hose it off, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into the weave with a soft brush and rinse it out. Grit trapped between the strands is what wears a weave, not weather.
Powder coated frame. Mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Tekwood top. Mild soap, water and a soft brush worked along the grain direction. It needs no sealing or oiling, which is the practical difference from a real timber top.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many boxes does this table arrive in?
It arrives in separate cartons for the top, column and base, listed under Dimensions and Specifications. We confirm the carton count with you before the order goes in.
Does it arrive assembled?
No. The top and the column come in separate cartons, so the table is put together after unpacking. Check every carton off against the delivery receipt before you sign, because a missing column box is not obvious looking at a pallet.
Which powder coat do I get?
You choose. Oxford Garden offers seventeen powder coats for Mena, from Chalk and Frost at the pale end to Carbon and Bistre at the dark end. We confirm your choice on your acknowledgment before anything is built.
What is the difference between HPL and Tekwood?
HPL is high pressure laminate, a dense sheet top Oxford Garden offers on Mena in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Starlight and Skyline. Tekwood is its wood grain top, in Natural and Vintage. Both are built for outdoor use and neither needs sealing.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. The weave is colored through the strand rather than surface dyed, the powder coat is baked on, and both top materials are made for outdoor duty. What actually wears a woven column is grit left in the weave, so rinse it out a couple of times a season.
How is this different from the HPL version of the same table?
Only the top. The dimensions, the woven column and the cartons are identical. HPL is a laminate sheet offered in four colors; Tekwood is a wood grain top offered in two.
Does the Tekwood top need oiling?
No, and that is the point of it. Tekwood is built to sit outside without sealing, oiling or annual sanding. Mild soap, water and a soft brush worked along the grain is the whole routine.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, and you will be contacted to arrange the delivery. The driver brings the shipment to the curb. Moving it into a yard, onto a deck or through a gate is not part of the service.
