Mena 24" Round Bistro Table in Tekwood
The dining height version of Mena's smallest round top: a 24 inch circle at 29.5 inches. Two chairs, two plates, and a footprint small enough for a balcony or the corner of a courtyard.
- 29.5 inches, standard dining height. An outdoor dining chair with a seat around 18 inches tucks under it with the usual eleven and a half inches of thigh clearance.
- A genuine two seat table. A 24 inch circle is about 75 inches around, which gives two people roughly 37 inches of edge each.
- 26.5 lb. The lightest table in the whole Mena range. One person can move it across a terrace when the sun shifts.
- Tekwood in Natural or Vintage. A wood grain outdoor top in either color, built to stay out without being sealed.

Materials and Construction
Column and base. All weather resin wicker, hand woven over the Mena column. The strand is synthetic and colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so it does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or show a pale core where a chair back scuffs it.
Finish. The frame is powder coated, and the coat is specified when you order. Oxford Garden offers seventeen powder coats for Mena. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it holds at the edges and joints where an outdoor finish usually gives out first.
Top. Tekwood, Oxford Garden's wood grain outdoor top, in Natural and Vintage. It reads as planked timber across the table and is built to stay outside, so there is no annual sealing to keep up with and no grain to lift after a wet week.

Care and Maintenance
Resin wicker. Hose it off, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into the weave with a soft brush and rinse it out. Grit trapped between the strands is what wears a weave, not weather.
Powder coated frame. Mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Tekwood top. Mild soap, water and a soft brush worked along the grain direction. It needs no sealing or oiling, which is the practical difference from a real timber top.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

What is the difference between HPL and Tekwood?
HPL is high pressure laminate, a dense sheet top Oxford Garden offers on Mena in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Starlight and Skyline. Tekwood is its wood grain top, in Natural and Vintage. Both are built for outdoor use and neither needs sealing.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. The weave is colored through the strand rather than surface dyed, the powder coat is baked on, and both top materials are made for outdoor duty. What actually wears a woven column is grit left in the weave, so rinse it out a couple of times a season.
Is this table tall enough for ordinary dining chairs?
Yes. At 29.5 inches it is standard dining height, the same as most outdoor dining tables. A chair with a seat around 18 inches leaves about eleven and a half inches of clearance, which is comfortable through a long meal.
