The Mena 24 inch round bar table is the smallest standing height table Oxford Garden builds in the collection: a 24 inch Tekwood top at 41.25 inches, carried on a hand woven resin wicker column. It is a two person table, sized for the leftover corners of a terrace rather than the middle of one.

The top is the choice here. Mena takes Tekwood, Oxford Garden's wood grain outdoor top, in Natural and Vintage, and page 28 prices both the same. The powder coat on the woven column is specified separately.

Column and base. All weather resin wicker, hand woven over the Mena column. The strand is synthetic and colored the whole way through rather than surface dyed, so it does not absorb water, go brittle in sun or show a pale core where a chair back scuffs it.

Finish. The frame is powder coated, and the coat is specified when you order. The coat is baked on rather than sprayed, so it holds at the edges and joints where an outdoor finish usually gives out first.

Resin wicker. Hose it off, then work mild soap and lukewarm water into the weave with a soft brush and rinse it out. Grit trapped between the strands is what wears a weave, not weather.

Powder coated frame. Mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.

Tekwood top. Mild soap, water and a soft brush worked along the grain direction. It needs no sealing or oiling, which is the practical difference from a real timber top.

Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

What is the difference between HPL and Tekwood?

HPL is high pressure laminate, a dense sheet top Oxford Garden offers on Mena in Marshland Oak, Enigma, Starlight and Skyline. Tekwood is its wood grain top, in Natural and Vintage. Both are built for outdoor use and neither needs sealing.

Can it stay outside all year?

Yes. The weave is colored through the strand rather than surface dyed, the powder coat is baked on, and both top materials are made for outdoor duty. What actually wears a woven column is grit left in the weave, so rinse it out a couple of times a season.

What stool height goes with this table?

The top sits 41.25 inches off the ground, so a stool with a seat around 30 inches leaves roughly 11 inches of knee room. That is the standard bar pairing. A counter stool at 24 to 26 inches will sit too low to use the table comfortably.

Will two people fit at a 24 inch round top?

Two, comfortably, and not three. A 24 inch circle runs about 75 inches around, so two people get roughly 37 inches of edge each. Three would be sharing about 25 inches apiece, which is tight once glasses are on the table.

How is it delivered?

By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, and you will be contacted to arrange the delivery. The driver brings the shipment to the curb. Moving it into a yard, onto a deck or through a gate is not part of the service.
