The cushion itself does not change with your choice of fabric. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical; only the Sunbrella cloth the cover is cut from is different.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive, and it stays light enough that one person can move the piece without help. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Feet. Leg end caps are fitted at the factory so the frame does not mark decking, tile or stone when it is slid rather than lifted.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The powder coated aluminum frame can stay outside all year.

How many people does it seat?
Three comfortably. At 77.5 inches wide with a 16.25 inch seat and 28.25 inches of depth it is a full size outdoor sofa, designed to face a pair of Markoe club chairs across a low table.
Will it fit through my gate?
The carton is 79 inches long by 31 wide by 30 high and the sofa is 77.5 by 28.25. It clears a 36 inch gate turned on edge, but a seventy nine inch box will not take a tight corner. Walk the route before delivery day.
How is it only 42 pounds?
Because the Markoe frame is a thin squared aluminum section with very little material in it, and aluminum is light to begin with. The cushions add another 16 pounds on top of the frame weight.
Is the seat cushion one piece?
Yes, a single 70.5 inch cushion rather than three. There are no seams between seat positions, which is usually the first thing to go on a long outdoor sofa.
What is the difference between the fabric choices?
Only the cloth the cover is cut from. Foam, cover construction and finished dimensions are identical. Bliss Linen is the fabric Oxford Garden stocks for Markoe. Other Sunbrella fabrics are made to order in whichever one you choose.
Can I leave it outside all year?
The powder coated aluminum frame can stay out. A cushion set this size is worth storing dry or covering through long wet stretches, simply because there is a lot of fabric to keep in order.
