- 21 inches wide with no arms. Two and a quarter inches narrower than the Markoe Armchair, and it pushes all the way in, which keeps a narrow deck walkable.
- Stacks for storage. A full table's worth goes into one column at the end of the season, with no cushions to gather first.
- An open, minimal frame. Thin squared aluminum, contoured at the seat and back rather than bulked out. It weighs 9.5 pounds.
- Sling color is yours to pick. The price list leaves the sling position open on this chair, so the fabric is specified at order time at no change in price.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive, and it stays light enough that one person can move the piece without help. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it holds at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Sling. One tensioned panel of outdoor sling fabric carries the seat and the back. There is no cushion to carry in and out, and rain passes straight through the weave instead of sitting in foam.
Feet. Leg end caps are fitted at the factory so the frame does not mark decking, tile or stone when it is slid rather than lifted.

Sling Fabric
The 2026 price list prints this chair's item code with the sling fabric position left open, so the sling is specified when the order is placed and does not change the price. Oxford Garden's own configuration of this chair uses the Ninja sling, fabric code S.T106, which is what it is photographed in.
The powder coat on the frame is specified the same way.

Care and Maintenance
Sling. Hose it down and let it dry. Sling fabric drains and dries on its own and does not need to be brought inside. For stubborn marks, mild soap and a soft brush.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up a deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The powder coated aluminum frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many fit around my table?
At 21 inches wide with no arms, allow roughly 24 inches of table edge each. A 72 inch rectangular table takes three a side plus one at each end, where Markoe armchairs at 23.25 inches would give you six in total.
Which sling fabric do I get?
Whichever you choose. The price list prints this chair's sling position as open, so the fabric is specified when the order is placed and does not move the price. Oxford Garden photographs the chair in the Ninja sling, code S.T106.
Can I mix side chairs and armchairs?
Yes, and it is the usual arrangement. Both sit at 17.5 inches on the same frame family, so armchairs at the two ends with side chairs down the sides reads as one set rather than two purchases.
Does it stack?
Yes. That is a large part of the case for a sling dining chair: at the end of the season the whole table's worth goes into a single column, with nothing to take off the chairs first.
Does the sling sag over time?
It settles a little in its first weeks and then holds. Grit worked into the weave is what genuinely wears a sling out, so rinsing it occasionally matters more than where you store it.
Can it stay outside all year?
Yes. Aluminum does not rust and a sling sheds water instead of holding it, so there is nothing for a freeze to damage and nothing to bring indoors.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service. The carton is 30 by 24 by 42 inches whether it holds two chairs or four, which is beyond what a parcel carrier will take.
