The two seat piece in the Malti deep seating group, 55.75 inches wide over a powder coated aluminum frame. The seat cushion is one continuous 48.5 inch pad rather than two, so there is no seam down the middle to sit on. It weighs under 40 pounds, which is unusual for a loveseat at this size.
- One continuous seat cushion. 48.5 inches wide in a single piece, with a matching 48.5 inch back cushion. Nothing shifts apart when two people sit down.
- Thirty nine and a half pounds. A two seat outdoor sofa that two people can carry up a deck stair. Aluminum rather than teak is the whole reason.
- A 5.5 inch seat at 18.5 inches. The same cushion depth and seat height as the Malti Club Chair, so the two form a level group around the 54.75 inch Malti coffee table.
- Under five feet wide. 55.75 inches. It anchors a small terrace or balcony where the 75.75 inch Malti Sofa would not fit.

The Malti Loveseat is the two seat piece in Oxford Garden's Malti deep seating group. The frame is powder coated aluminum, which is what keeps a 55.75 inch sofa under 40 pounds, and the seat is a single continuous cushion rather than two separate pads.

Cushion and Fabric Options
Oxford Garden prices Malti cushions in fabric grades. The cushion itself does not change between grades. The fill, the cover construction and the dimensions are identical on every line; what changes is which Sunbrella book the cover is cut from, and that is what moves the price. Malti is one of the few Oxford Garden collections with a named fabric at two different grades.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 63 lb.

Care and Maintenance
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the price include the cushions?
Yes. The seat and back cushions ship with the frame and the grade you pick sets which Sunbrella range the covers are cut from. There is no separate cushion to add to the order.
What is the difference between Grade 2A, Grade A and Grade B?
They are fabric price tiers, not different cushions. Construction and dimensions are identical on all three. Grade 2A is Bliss Linen and Grade B is Mainstreet Dove, both named fabrics for Malti. Grade A opens the wider Sunbrella range and is made to order.
Can I leave it outside all year?
The frame, yes. Powder coated aluminum does not rust and does not depend on the coating staying perfect to survive the winter. The cushions last considerably longer if you store them dry or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Will it fit through a standard gate?
The carton is 58 inches long and 33 inches wide and the loveseat itself is 55.75 by 30.75. Turned on its side it clears a 36 inch gate, but a narrow path with a tight corner is a different problem. Measure before delivery day.
How does it group with the club chairs?
Two Malti Club Chairs facing the loveseat across the 54.75 inch Malti coffee table is the standard arrangement. All three share an 18.5 inch seat and a 5.5 inch cushion, so nothing sits higher than anything else.
What frame colors can I get?
Frame color is a powder coat selection made with the order, at no extra cost, from Oxford Garden's standard Malti range. Tell us the finish you want when you order and we will confirm it before the order goes in.
How is this delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service on a palletized shipment, not by parcel carrier. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver is not able to carry it into a yard, through a gate or onto a deck.
What else is in the plain Malti collection?
A side chair, an armchair, a counter chair, a bar chair, a club chair, a high back club chair, a loveseat and a sofa, plus HPL topped dining, bar, coffee and end tables. The Malti Strap pieces are a separate frame, not a finish option on these.
