A 17.25 inch square side table at 20 inches high, with the same high pressure laminate top as the rest of the Malti tables. It stands an inch and a half above the seat line on the Malti lounge chairs, which puts a drink at hand height rather than at knee height.
- 20 inches high against an 18.5 inch seat. An inch and a half above the cushion, so a glass sits at the level of the arm rather than below it.
- A 17.25 inch square footprint. Small enough to slide between two club chairs and still leave a walking gap, which a round side table of the same area does not.
- Ten pounds. Light enough to move with one hand while the other holds the drink it was carrying.
- Matched to the Malti table finishes. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight, the same four laminates offered on the dining, bar and coffee tables.

Table Top Options
Every Malti table top is high pressure laminate over the same powder coated aluminum base. The four finishes are priced identically, so this is a look decision rather than a budget one. Finish codes are Oxford Garden's own, from pages 84 and 85 of the 2026 price list.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Top. High pressure laminate. HPL is a decorative sheet bonded under heat and pressure onto a dense core, which is why it takes sun, rain and a wet glass without swelling, checking or needing to be sealed each spring. It does not have to be brought inside for winter and it does not change color on one side of the table.

This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier, at 12 lb.

Care and Maintenance
High pressure laminate. Mild soap, warm water and a cloth. It is a sealed surface, so nothing soaks in and nothing needs re-oiling. Skip abrasive powders and scouring pads, which leave a dull patch that will not buff out.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do the four tops cost the same?
Yes. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight are priced identically, so the choice is purely about the look you want. All four are the same high pressure laminate on the same aluminum base.
Can the table stay outside through the winter?
Yes. The base is powder coated aluminum and the top is high pressure laminate, so there is no wood to swell, no seal to renew and nothing that rusts. A cover keeps grit off the surface but is not needed to protect it.
How does it sit next to a Malti club chair?
The table top is 20 inches off the ground and the club chair seat is 18.5, so the surface is an inch and a half above the cushion. That is roughly arm height when you are sitting back in the chair.
Is it stable enough to leave out in wind?
It weighs ten pounds, which is light. On an exposed roof deck or a windy waterfront it is worth bringing in or weighting. The powder coated aluminum itself is unaffected by the weather.
What frame colors can I get?
Frame color is a powder coat selection made with the order, at no extra cost, from Oxford Garden's standard Malti range. Tell us the finish you want when you order and we will confirm it before the order goes in.
How is this delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service on a palletized shipment, not by parcel carrier. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver is not able to carry it into a yard, through a gate or onto a deck.
