Malti Collection
Malti 36 inch Round Folding Dining Table
A 36 inch round dining table with a folding base, topped in high pressure laminate. At 31.75 pounds assembled it is the piece to buy for a balcony, a narrow side yard or a table that only needs to exist when people are over.
- A folding base. The base collapses for storage, which is the whole argument for this table over the fixed 48 inch round.
- Thirty one and three quarter pounds. One person can carry it out, open it and set it down. It is the lightest dining table in the Malti range by a wide margin.
- A 29.75 inch dining height. Standard dining height, matched to the 19 inch seat on the Malti Side Chair and Armchair.
- The same laminate top as the fixed tables. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline or Starlight, all sealed against sun and rain.

Table Top Options
Every Malti table top is high pressure laminate over the same powder coated aluminum base. The four finishes are the same build, so this is purely a look decision.
| Option | What it is |

| HPL Marshland Oak | High pressure laminate, Marshland Oak. |
| HPL Enigma | High pressure laminate, Enigma. |
| HPL Skyline | High pressure laminate, Skyline. |
| HPL Starlight | High pressure laminate, Starlight. |
Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Top. High pressure laminate. HPL is a decorative sheet bonded under heat and pressure onto a dense core, which is why it takes sun, rain and a wet glass without swelling, checking or needing to be sealed each spring. It does not have to be brought inside for winter and it does not change color on one side of the table.
What Is Included
- One 36 inch round high pressure laminate table top in the finish you select
- One folding powder coated aluminum base
Ships in two cartons. Chairs and other Malti pieces shown in our photography are sold separately.

Care and Maintenance
High pressure laminate. Mild soap, warm water and a cloth. It is a sealed surface, so nothing soaks in and nothing needs re-oiling. Skip abrasive powders and scouring pads, which leave a dull patch that will not buff out.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The table can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the four tops the same build?
Yes. Marshland Oak, Enigma, Skyline and Starlight are the same high pressure laminate on the same aluminum base, so the choice is purely about the look you want.
Can the table stay outside through the winter?
Yes. The base is powder coated aluminum and the top is high pressure laminate, so there is no wood to swell, no seal to renew and nothing that rusts. A cover keeps grit off the surface but is not needed to protect it.
How many chairs fit around 36 inches?
Two comfortably, four at a push with the armless Malti Side Chair at 21.25 inches wide. It is a table for coffee and a pair of plates rather than a full dinner service.
What actually folds?
The base. It collapses so the table can be stored flat or stood against a wall, which is why Oxford Garden packs the top and the base in separate cartons at 36 and 10 pounds.
What frame colors can I get?
Frame color is a powder coat selection made with the order, from Oxford Garden's standard Malti range. Tell us the finish you want when you order and we will confirm it before the order goes in.
How is this delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service on a palletized shipment, not by parcel carrier. You will be contacted to arrange a delivery window. The driver is not able to carry it into a yard, through a gate or onto a deck.
What else is in the Malti collection?
A 36 inch round folding dining table, a 36 inch round folding bar table, a 48 inch round dining table, a 76 inch rectangular dining table, a coffee table and an end table, alongside the Malti and Malti Strap seating ranges.
