Koral Modular Corner Seat
The corner unit that turns a Koral run through ninety degrees, or caps the end of one. Same 36.5 inch square and same 15.5 inch seat as the side seat, with the upholstered back carried around the adjoining side so there is no open edge at the turn.
- Back on two sides. The upholstery wraps the corner, so whoever sits there has something behind both shoulders instead of one.
- Sets the ends of a run. A corner at each end and side seats between them gives you a sofa with finished edges. Turn a corner ninety degrees and the same parts make an L.
- 36.5 inch module. Identical in plan to the side seat and the ottoman, so every Koral layout works out in whole modules rather than awkward part widths.
- Upholstered, not cushioned. Covered seat and back rather than loose pads. Nothing to straighten every time somebody gets up.

Upholstery Options
Koral is upholstered, not cushioned, so the fabric you pick is the fabric on the piece. Both options are built identically; only the cloth changes.
| Option | What it is |
|---|---|
| Spectrum Indigo | Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic in a deep blue. Offered on the Koral collection only. |
| Sunbrella Limited Collection | Fabrics from the Sunbrella Limited Collection. Tell us the cloth you want and we confirm it before the order goes in. |
Materials and Construction
Frame. Marine grade aluminum, powder coated. Aluminum does not rust, so the frame does not depend on a coating staying perfect to survive. The powder coat is baked on rather than sprayed, which is why it resists chipping at the joints where outdoor furniture usually fails first.
Upholstery. The seat and back are upholstered rather than carrying loose cushions, so nothing slides out of place and there is no gap between a pad and the frame. Spectrum Indigo is a Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic: the color goes into the fiber before it is spun instead of being printed onto finished cloth, which is why it holds its tone in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print. Oxford Garden offers Spectrum Indigo on the Koral collection only.

Your Own Fabric: COM and SOF Orders
Oxford Garden accepts COM and SOF orders on the Koral upholstered pieces. COM is customer's own material: you supply the fabric. SOF is special order fabric, a Sunbrella or other approved cloth from outside the standard books.
Own fabric orders are quoted by phone, because the cost depends on the material, the yardage and the run.
If you want this piece in your own fabric, call 631 678-6506 or email customerservice@aquaterrabackyard.com. We will confirm the quote with Oxford Garden before anything is ordered.
COM and SOF orders carry an extended lead time and, under Oxford Garden's terms, may not be returned or canceled.

Care and Maintenance
Upholstery. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and let it air dry. Do not machine dry the covers. Cover the piece or move it under shelter when it is not in use for long stretches and the fabric will keep its color longer.
Powder coated aluminum. Wash with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which dull the finish. Touch up any deep scratch promptly so salt and grit have nothing to work at.
Off season. The frame can stay outside all year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included?
The whole module: aluminum base, frame and upholstered seat and wrapping back in the fabric you select. It ships as a single assembled unit.
How does the Koral system fit together?
Every Koral seat is a 36.5 inch square on the same low aluminum base, so side seats, corner seats and the ottoman line up on one grid. Count in modules rather than inches: two corners and a side seat make a three seat sofa at roughly 109 inches.
How many corners do I need?
Two if you want a straight sofa with a finished end at each side. One if you are turning a corner against a wall. Four corners and four side seats close a square pit around a 36.5 inch coffee table.
What is Spectrum Indigo?
A Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic in a deep blue, offered on the Koral collection only. Solution dyed means the pigment is in the fiber rather than printed on the surface, which is why it holds color through seasons of direct sun.
What is the Sunbrella Limited Collection?
A separate Sunbrella fabric range. The piece is built the same way either route. Tell us the fabric you want from that range and we will confirm it before the order goes in.
Can I have it in my own fabric?
Yes, through a COM or SOF order. Those are quoted by phone, so we cannot list them as a variant. Call 631 678-6506 and we will confirm the quote with Oxford Garden before ordering. Expect an extended lead time.
Can I replace the upholstery later?
Yes. Oxford Garden makes the matching upholstery for this corner module and we list it as its own product, so the cloth can be renewed without touching the frame.
How is it delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, at 54 lb in a carton of 39 by 38 by 29 inches. Curbside means the driver stops at the curb, so plan the route to the terrace.
